einstien said insanity is when a person does the same thing over and over again but expects a different result: |

| Quote: Pickering Red "My aspirations for the rest of the season are - PLEASE DO NOT PICK THE SPINELESS, DEFENSIVELY INEPT 3RD CHOICE HEADLESS CHICKEN LEFT WINGER AGAIN THIS SEASON.
Please let Oakes or Wardill have a crack until Josh returns.
Players who gift 3 tries to formidable opposition within 30 minutes of the start of the game because they have no will or guts to get stuck in have no place in our team. Send him out on Loan to Newcastle.'"
Harsh bordering on nasty that pickers I wouldn't call him spineless or anyone who actually takes to the field and puts his body on the line

| announce the new coach, keep giving the kids a chance, beat Oldham, get a good draw in next round, get the quality we have on longer contracts, target the signings we needed last year and cut a fair few out fom what we have. Not knowing our financial situation I have no idea what we are capable of doing id like to pay off at season end Tilse, till season end we need him, our missing no 6 clearly wants away, sign a full back, convince Green he would hate Australia and get him signed long term. Finally remember my fellow red and whites we started the season with Sio as full back which could have been great for the team we will never know, we have had our captain for a half hour all season, our 6 has developed an eating disorder and agoraphobia which he manages to overcome for the occasional game then goes back to his cupboard, our 9 has been injured for large parts as has our back up 9, our 1st choice centre at season start(not mine out of interest) has hardly played one of our starting 2nd rows the same. Mantellato, who in my opinion is a marvel for us, has again hardly played due to 2 major injuries and our back up kicker and a decent looking back is out for the season. Look at Leeds with half our injuries and twice the squad, or Giants with a comparable injury list (not quite as bad imo) the teams at the bottom are ravaged by bad luck. Keep smiling, I enjoyed the middle 8s last year.

| Question; why do people criticise Kelly for being injured but do not criticise Mantellato?
Aspirations for this season keep watching our young recruits and team progress and gain experience (Marsh, Minns, Shaw, Mulhern, Lawler Greenwood, Green and Thornley are only 23 years old or younger). Have a good cup run once our experienced players return (Campese, Kelly, Larroyer and Mantellato). IMO this is our 5 year plan, build this group of young prospects into a team, some signings are going to work and some not.
Next year we will have a top class coach, he may wish to move Sio to full back and get another good experienced FB or winger. Let Tilse go after his contract finishes ( I think it's after this year) and get a powerful prop or possibly two and move Allgood to second row. Hopefully we will be able to give some more youngsters (Oakes, Wardill and Moran) some more game time.
If you look at us with a full compliment of players now, we only need a prop and a FB/winger. We're not far off being a good team, but then again there are another 11 teams that would say the same.

| Kelly has been playing with injuries, that makes him less effective not disinterested. He'll come good when he has recovered just like Campo and Josh.

| I think I prefer Sio at wing to fullback. I'm okay with Cockayne seeing out the season as our fullback I think, he's "okay" there, he doesn't do a bad job and is solid enough. For me Sio is a natual try scorer and I think him and Mantellato on the wings is the best combination we have got.

I agree, we just need to tell our half backs to kick to him. Our most effective weapon and we hardly use it.

| My aspirations at the start of the season are the same as now, hope were still in superleague. We looked a shoo in to be in the bottom 2/4 and so it seems it will be what happens.Campese was a calculated risk, which hasn't worked out, kelly after a brilliant start has slowly gone backwards, and the injury situation has been the major factor in our struggles. The 62-0 thrashing of wigan by wakey shows what injuries do to any team and we have had more bad luck than most.Hopefully we can secure our place in superleague next season and have a big clearout as we have several young players showing some promise for the future, mulhearn, greenwood, minns, shaw, oakes and walker who is still only young and the best years should still be in front of them.
