| This game is winable, Wigan have not been in great form & Rovers have been getting better. The loss to Warrington may have dented their confidence but I doubt it. Nothing to loose so they might as well give it good crack, plus a win makes the derby result in terms of league position irelevent so we can take risks against FC & put on a good show.

| The game isn't winnable at all. I appreciate the players & coaching staff can't take this attitude, but as I'm neither, I can. Limit the damage, play with pride and then concentrate on getting 6 points from the last 4 games.

I'm sure glad you wasn't my coach, i can just imagine what your pre match team talk would have been like.

| Well if he was a coach I'm sure he would say something different, but as he isn't I think he makes a pretty salient point.
It wouldn't be the biggest shock in Rugby League if we went to the Pie Dome and won, but it is fairly unlikely.

| I wouldn't go as far as unwinnable, but definitely unlikely. I just hope we aren't shown our backsides and at least put up a good performance.

So Cas & saints can beat them (both of who we have done over) why? can't Rovers. I suppose getting 6 from the last 4 means you expect to beat FC widness & London but not Leeds?

| Glass half empty, that's always my angle when it comes to supporting Rovers. It's an expectation management thing.
When I'm wrong (and I often am) then I'm delighted. When the blind optimist is wrong, he's devastated.

| One reason why we wont beat Wigan. Sam Tomkins. He's missed a lot of their league games recently that's why they have been beaten by Cas, Saints etc.
The best player I've seen in England since Ellery Hanley, Brett kenny, era . He's destroyed us everytime we play against him. We had them on the rack for 30 mins in the cup game before Wane realised he could move him to off half with Green off. He scored 3 tries in 15 mins from off half and the game was over. Remember him dislocating his finger early on in a play off game at JJB and he destroyed us with one hand. An incredible player who gets targeted every game he plays. Wigan are an average side without him their whole offence is bulit around him. When he and Richards leaves at the end of the year i'll look forward to playing Wigan again.
Pray he stays fit for the final. Now where can I lend a cherry and white shirt and an abacus for that game?

| O' Loughlin was moved to off half when Green was carried off at Craven Park. His performance was hilarious. He can't pass despite his best efforts and hit the ground with his passes more than his team mates. They then moved Tomkins there.
He's a very good forward but there are plenty of those in England. A work horse like him can be replaced. For me Tomkin's abilty is unique.
Me I much prefer watching Tomkins make ass's of professional players. It's like watching road runner cartoons some games.

Must admit I agree with that, Tomkins is almost unplayable at times.
