Perhaps not as stupid as we think - a lot of the classic troll stuff here like spelling, grammatical errors and lack of punctuation (or incorrect punctuation). That draws you into a discussion about how they can't spell, for example, which then loses you the moral high-ground etc etc. Only really ever responds to digs against "her" rather than any of the comments that attempt to answer the questions. Definitely a keyboard warrior but has all the signs of a juvenile - if I'm wrong then they might be better at this than I suspect.

There's some brilliant new users about at the moment, I got involved in a 4 way conversation with one last week.
It took them nearly 2 days to realise that they were talking to two made up people and a pi55taker.
I know a lot of the alias posters annoy people, I personally find some of them brilliant.

I'm finding the concept that only a genius could appear this stupid quite appealing. As long as she stays this side of the AUP, I can't dismiss it.
I've just been thinking back over the maddest posters of the last few years - what was the Hull one with the Masonic symbol called? 'All seeing eye' or 'Font of knowledge' maybe? And the kid who said he was in the marines (or was it even special forces?), whose sources in Australia yielded a never ending stream of unlikely rumours. Not that we haven't got our share, but I can either remember them clearly or have forgotten them completely. |
