Glad Fox has got a chance and hope he takes it - hopefully Bridge will not leave him exposed, like Smith et al did Briscoe. The absence of Inglis will help! Otherwise it is just Wilkin in for McGuire (via Eastmond), isn't it?

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

| Fox will need to be on his game, never been conviced about Bridge but Wire fans are saying he's been defensively consisitent.
Really not keen in Peacock in the second row, prepare for five drives, not getting out of our 30 metre area and a poor kick. Yes, the Kiwis have got a big pack but they're also very mobile.
That aside, it's England, I'm really looking forward to it and I'll be there shouting them on irrespective of club bias.

If I were Kearney I know what side I would be attacking. Fox is okay chasing kicks but put him under pressure in defence and even with ball in hand and then he becomes suspect imo and Bridge is crap. Together it could be a shambles.

Probably not, but only because New Zealand's backs aren't as good as the Aussies. Had Bridge and Fox been the partnership last week the score would have been no different.
At the end of the day, we can blame McGuire, Smith and Briscoe for their positional play, but when there is that much room to run at the only ones to blame are the forwards. They were getting dominated and getting pulled into the middle which leaves massive spaces. If the Kiwi's v Aussies game was anything to go by it will be the same all over again on Saturday.

All Fox and Bridge have to do is talk to each other at least once and that alone would be an improvement on Smith and Briscoe last week!

What a remarkable coincidence.

The problem as far as i see it is peacock in the 2nd row leaves the winger, centre and half back exposed as he can't slide as quick as a 2nd row needs to meaning that the gap is created by enforced poor decision making. This was proven when westwood came on and the right hand side tightend up.
