It wasnt ur day but to be honest apart from ripping to bits a very poor cas side who ok we only just beat FC have hardly set the world on fire have they, injuries are part and parcel of the game it's how the coach and the rest of the players respond to it ur team appear to react pretty bad to any change if they're not doing in the games what they do In training then PG and AP are gonna be pretty narked arnt they |

| Your right all teams get injuries, and all will at some point this season, you are getting them now with both Dobson and burns(dirty  ), its gonna happen but that's life and that's sport, the seasons early still and I will judge PG when we have our squad at full strength (if we do). |

Tbf think it was high not malicious a few grapple tackles went amiss from ur side I really think ganson was trying to get u back into the game by so many penalties (guilty conscience from last millennium maybe lol ) however that didn't work so he prob thought forget this lol

A small problem for a top 4 wembley bound mega spending team surely?
Especially with Rovers missing Dobson, Gleeson, O'Hara, and Withers ALL certain starters and then Burns 2nd half.
Actually the injury/reshuffle/half back situation was quite even.
One team spent too much time feeling sorry the other got on with it. Hull's injury problems always seem severe because of the sheer amount of time talking about it.
Do you really think a genuine good team would be stuck in 11th place winning 2 games out of 9 and blaming injuries? |

Irrespective of their quality (or lack thereof, in your view) they're still first choice players and ate into our depth. From reading your forum Yeaman and Lynch don't seem to be hitting the heights this year and Seymour's issues have been well documented. McDonnell is a decent enough fullback, but Gentle chose to go with 5 backs and leave out Crookes. Holdsworth is good, but so is Dobson. Which leaves Ellis, and fair enough he's a top player, but second row is where you have most depth.
Treating every derby defeat as a freak or aberration, to be excused by injuries or poor refereeing, with a side order of displacement indignation is just denial and that solves nothing. Not that Gentle or your players will buy into it, i'm sure. It doesn't even diminish our enjoyment of the result (or mine at least), possibly the reverse.
We were better on the day, just as you were twice last year.

looking at your forwards on display o'hara would walk into your team the same with withers and yeaman is the most overated centre in SL who after all these years still hasnt learnt to pass a ball and your telling me you would rather have arundel than gleeson you keep believing

A Wigan win is as predictable as your excuses pal, nobody is under any illusions. However, Mr Agar will pile more pressure on his successor over in West Yorkshire so we will finish the day still a comfortable 4 points above the (not so) mighty FC. |

Tbf, it is hard to tell the difference between the hooked worms and the wriggly ones sometimes.
We're pretty earthbound, I think. Pleased with the recent wins, but we know we've got some tough tests coming up. |
