| Well Kelly and Blair come from sub tropical coastal towns where few people would bother wearing a jumper even in mid winter. I'm sure they are both freezing, but Campese comes from a place where the temperature is sub zero nearly every night during winter and the days would rarely get warmer than 10 or 12 degrees. In summer it's a completely different story - 40 degree days are not unheard of in summer - but Campese would be very used to training and playing in very cold conditions.
It might be a bit of a shock for him to go from mid summer in Canberra, where temps would be between 25 and 40 degrees at this time of the year, to mid winter over there.

| As long as he invests in a car window scraper, grips for his footwear and hot water bottles under his training gear he will be absolutely fine Roopy...............until the bad weather arrives.

Did you get rid of all the voices in your head? Do you now miss them and the things that they said?: |

Maybe Chester has a more positive outlook on things.

Stan, Terry Campese was injury free for all of 2014 and most of 2013.
Can he still be the player he was before his injury ridden seasons of 2011 & 2012?........ that's the question.
Campese & Rovers believe he can get back to something approaching his best, I do too but just in case he doesn't he's only on a one year deal.
Question marks maybe, but puzzled why you are peddling your idea that he is a cripple heading for an inevitable early breakdown, Rovers the naive employers not even aware. Not even bothered to give him a thorough medical?

| If the guy was good enough to be a captain for is team when he played in OZ he is good enough for rovers

| Campese has arrived at Rovers fit, healthy and ready to go, and has been involved in every session since arriving, which hopefully pours water on the distasteful 'cripple' slurs.

| I hope he plays every game, I have just listened to his interview and he comes across very well, seems like a nice bloke too. I'm desperate for him to succeed, but I temper that with an element of caution, that's all.
I also back his selection as captain 100%, he's a born leader. I'm mis-understood round these parts, perhaps I need to use more emoticons or whatever they are called.

I thought it worth trawling back to see how you feel about this now?

Any thoughts on this then *1999*?

| Quote: Punos "I will settle for them training with the team from beginning of November to try and get an understanding going, at least that will give them the best chance to succeed.
By the time the first game comes around they will have 3 months under their belts.
Plus a full pre-season under their belts.'"
How's that full pre-season looking now mate?
