| Quote: TheRealist "Its good to get a win and 2 points on the board but lets not kid ourselves.... It was far from excellent. We played an extremely poor French team that look destined to be wooden spooners. We emerged from the game with only an Handful of players coming away with any credibility, notably Lunt, Salter and Atkin. I watched back when I got home and it was as bad on TV as it was in real time. The media bumped on about Dagger but IMO he is a way of been the same level as Quinlan or even Marsh at FB!!!! He failed to pouch a few kicks, was beaten in a foot race for their try and didn't look very good positionally, not slating the kid completely as he does have potential but against a decent team this year he will be out of his depth. A spell at York may do him the world of good.
Salter must play the next game even if Heff is fit, he made our right edge look defensively strong for the first time in a long time.
2 points is 2 points though so lets beat Salford now'"
We controlled the second half very well. They never looked like getting in the game because we didn't let them.
Dagger organised the defence well. Improved under the kick and looked a threat. Didn't over try when under pressure with the ball.
Mead outruns most humans. He's very quick. It was a good debut for an 18 year old pivot.
Masoe had a very good game.

No player during last night's error strewn low quality game managed to get close to a mind boggling 5 errors which the superstar Jake Conner managed against Wigan.
Back to Your board Jake.

Why mention the Hull game? It was certainly not a classic and with many errors as you say. Last night was an awful game, but you got the points which is what is important.

If you cannot see the reason for mentioning the FC game in response to an FC fan having a dig about the number of errors in our game you have my sympathy.

Why do you think?
Last night's game has been criticised for its poor quality and errors. Just looking for a factual comparison and used the game played by the club of the fan who raised the issue alot. It was interesting that their club's last game had more errors and that one of their players had put on a masterclass in error making.

connor was virtually on one leg for most of the game but was still better than any outside back at rovers

Why is a leigh fan even looking at the superleague section of the board?

Our game v wigan wasn't great but it was a significant step up in quality to last nights. The number of errors in a game isn't a measure of quality of course as there is no context to the errors

| Last couple of season us and Leigh have been through similar tribulations and the fans generally are on decent terms I'd say? Losing the MPG is a shocking way to go down and particularly hard on fans I'm still not sure why Leigh played so poorly v Cats in that game?Seems a couple of FC fans who frequent here have a dislike of Leigh for some reason? Anyway KR got the win and that's all that matters.Salford on horizon and lots of subplots in that fixture which makes it bit tasty?

Friendly? I'm sure Wigan got 2 points for winning that classic.

And yet he makes a miraculous recovery to play tomorrow along with nearly every other player that was on deaths door last week
