I agree mate but then again with Briscoe, Fox, Webster, Green, Dobson, Vella, Lovegrove, Newton, Galea, Murrell, Netherton and Wheeldon it would have been very different 
Not that anyone is really that bothered, its more coming through these games without injuries and giving the younger lads a chance to impress that really matters |

I agree - We may have found a good one in our fullback who is on trial - im sure he will be signed up soon.

We got beat in all our friendlies last season they are a great way to extend a training session, I mean featherstone beat Leeds today our test will be a week today, then the next week of analysing the games then into action at Cardiff.

few missing from fax team plus never easy for flow of game having so many subs coming n going all time.
as said above fax even played three trialists, the fullback is the current barla fullback and made a very good break from behind own line. he is the son of ex fax n saints prop john fieldhouse. |

Calling you cynical 
Fax & Donny are worlds apart when it comes to playing ability. You also had very few regular first teamers playing. To be honest I was surprised you got the win with the team you put out. This is not a dig at Rovers either, Morgan has always used the friendlies well blooding plenty of youngsters whilst also giving his 1st choice 17 a decent run out over the 3 or 4 friendlies you play. |

Think you need to have more respect for Halifax, who were the 2010 Champions of the Campionship. It was a very good result for Rovers today. You can't compare Halifax with the likes of Doncaster.
Hall played well today, but so did the youngsters. |
