Quote: Hutchie "Was Wilkin playing ??'"

Exactly. Think he came on with 20 ish minutes to go

I would stick another prop in there really try and smash the aussies into the ground, rather then have an interchange back row

I'd agree. Quite surprised that Carvell hasn't been given a shot already TBH.

Fox did well to recover from his early error when NZ scored. Took his tries well although they were fairly simple and took the one high ball he had too.

He needs to defend better next week against the aussies though.

Quote: The 4th Tongan "Well played Fox. He was at fault for the first try but recovered and took both his trys well. Solid performance - will get picked next week against the Aussies which is the REAL test
He didn't come out and publically say anything,Maybe he wasn't asked to comment about the selection of the French game icon_rolleyes.gif
But he DID show his support to Tom, so stop nit picking icon_razz.gif

During their time in the England squad, Fox and Briscoe have developed a good friendship and in disappointing times, one has been there for the other.

"I feel sorry for Tom in this disappointing time," said Fox.

"Tom will bounce back from this.

"There's been no bitterness between us and we've helped each other out.

"I've been there to offer him advice before games and I expect him to offer me some before this game.

Apart from their first try, which he held his hand up to, I don't think his defence was bad. NZ didn't attack solely down his wing, as some said they would.
The whole England team played a lot better than last week, they looked like a team instead of individuals.

Well done Foxy icon_biggrin.gif

Fox and Shaun Briscoe both did well tonight, as did most of the team in fact. Crabtree has been a revelation in this series IMO. I'm hardly Fox's biggest critic, you chump, but feel free to post my quotes slating him if you like. Good luck with that. icon_lol.gif

sliding d stopped so he was in 2 minds not at fault bridge and eatmound stopped sliding leaving him in a no win situation stop trying to find fault and his runs from dummy half saved the forwards a lot of work.if a winger is to be called what as hall done

I dont see why rovers fans are so far up his . He played well against a average NZ that rarely threatened Englands outside backs, and when they did he was at fault. He strolled in for his second try and his first try was taken well. He will get ripped apart against the aussies.

Quote: Kosh "Decent performance from Fox, but some are going a tad OTT.
Like they did when Briscoe fell over the French line you mean icon_lol.gif

Six tries in five internationals isn't a bad tally.
