There is plenty of room to bring the pitch closer to to the RM stand which must be the idea.

The idiocy of people is truely amazing.

Because of the flat walkway infront of the seats of the RM Stand, it would be impossible to bring the pitch closer, even now the hand rail on the stand is in your eyeline with the touchline, so to bring it closer would block half of the pitch of (it may have been a good idea at times last season).

The stand does indeed look short on the east side, but there is a stairway to go on the end and the side structure of the stand where it will meet up with the East stand, closing that end of the gound off (why would you put more seats behind the end of the east stand with no view?) secondly why would you make sure the stand was even on both sides, that would mean it falling short of the ancillary buildings on the West side, and those extra seats are not a restricted view, so no problem.
