Moss would be my choice at full back, one of the others to the halves.

| I’d like to see how moss at full back Quinlan in the half’s works Quinlan is solid under the high ball but he’s kick Returns ant that cleaver may be he’s scared to get injured as he always looks to pass as well rather then taking the line on

| Personally I really don't see where the calls for Moss at FB are coming from. He is a capable backup but nothing more for me. Quinlan looks dangerous and sharp this year. Yes he is smaller in stature so why wouldn't you use your wingers to return the ball and play to the collective strengths of the team? i.e. Carney likely to get a quick play of the ball for Quinlan to then take advantage. It's not like Moss has much more size or strength to be a more effective returner of a kick and he doesn't really have a passing game. In the London friendly I thought the scoots from Moss were pretty terrible and made no yards whatsoever.

| I’d say that Dagger already looks a better full back than either Quinlan or Miss.

Quinlan to me is to lightweight and always tries to get rid of the ball what he gives you in attack you lose in his defence and I don't know who the woman is your talking about but I guess he's better than her also

You don’t need to know her but take it from me she’s terrible under the high ball.

| i think its a bit of a myth about quinlans defence, he's made many a good saving tackle. I don't even think the role of fullback is defensive anymore, and thinking moss or daggers is better is ludicrous.
Dagger looks quinlans natural successor, let's bare in mind he's only 19 plenty of time to develop like. Moss i just don't get, but if i played him anywhere it would be wing but as mentioned earlier his exit runs at beginning of sets are absymal. Open space he beats anybody mind

| The fact is that Marsh is NOT good enough, you can talk all you like but Marsh will never be good enough for the super league and that is a fact.

It’s an opinion, no matter how many people share it and how stridently it’s put.
‘Good enough’ is subjective, but it’s a fact that he’s played SL.
What surprises me is how our young or club-trained players mostly get the benefit of the doubt, and Matty Marsh seems to exist to balance that out. For a proportion of fans James Green was always just a couple of years away from becoming a top prop, there’s a general assumption that Will Oakes will definitely make it at first-team level based mainly on academy performances, some people mourn the loss of Josh Guzdek or Liam Harris... and then there’s Matty Marsh. Poor, youthful, handsome, professional sportsman Matty Marsh.

How many games have you seen him play at SL level to draw that conclusion?
I know you fans of the barcodes are quick to write half backs off but I’m prepared to let the kid mature before throwing him on he scrap heap

| Nail on head there Stan. Kelly Watts Taylor Paea all whilst playing for us we had the Curlies coming on telling us how crap they were. Now all suddenly world beaters? Not one of my Fc pals could give big Mose any credit for his barge over carrying 3 players but pointed out poor defense yet creamed their pants over Watts try without being touched. Its all one way with them. As for Marsh it's a big chance for him tonight.

| in fairness Kelly was outstanding for you 1st year, second was hit and miss and didn't look fit a lot of the time, same with Watts hes twice the player with us than when he played for you, taylor and paea both had good spells with you, as far as mose goes he had a good game against cats but imo lets see where hes at in about 6 games, hes cert got all the attributes to be a big game player,

| Marsh isn’t in the team tonight, suspect he’s failed to recover from the dead leg he got last Sunday. Blair in the halves.

Fair summary. Watts seemed to have one good year then one mediocre one with us. And he was similar with you initially, but is more consistent (if still occasionally indisciplined) now, from what I’ve seen.
