"I've been rich & I've been poor. Rich is better." DLR: |

| Kiwi backline was severely understrength. Foran & Marshall never clicked. Body language seemed poor. I think some of the niggly plays were the result of players getting frustrated. Just didn't look a happy camp throughout the tournament.

They looked like a side to me who knew that they had too many front line players missing to win the competition. They certainly didnt look over bothered about their plight when i bumped into them partying in Sugar Mill on saturday night.

| Was one of the poorest NZ teams I have seen, especially their three quarter line up.

| Quote: barham red "Must admit I found it kiind of funny (when not embarrassed) it was a bit like the drunken fights you see round town.
Mrs B - the drunken one who think they know it all, tries to belittle all around but just ends up coming across smug and self righteous and enevitably someone thumps them.
Zod - Short fused and incendiary - the one who enivitably thumps the above
GML - The one who has best intentions, wades in to break it up and ends up taking more of a pounding than the instigators.
Marfa - The Edit-AS up girlfriend, wont let it lie, screams and shouts alot and ends up getting arrested. Pictured as that girl with the shoe at the derby match.'"
Eh?
How am I swaggering about shouting the odds with GML the pacifier?
Justin Morgan Legend started a thread about Yeaman on here calling him an over rated piece of excrement. GML wades in with an unnecessary reference to Welham, stating that Yeaman's selection is mad because he's not even the best centre in the city. Another mod joins the fray to say Welham is better "hands down". A couple of us then attempt to provide some balancing thoughts on the relative defensive performances of the two and the relevant Dream Team context, and get called something against the AUP.
As Jake points out, both are average SL centres and really battling it out for 6th and 7th best English centre. In Roversfan world, however, Welham is top notch and Yeaman "excrement". I'm just having a sober right of reply.

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

| Personally I think they're at a similar level, but Yeaman's experience and slightly sounder defence probably got him the place. His partnership with Briscoe was probably a bonus. Welham's got 4 or 5 years on him though, so he I'm guessing he knows what he has to do.
