Where you don't pay a price for something,the owner pays you to take it off their hands, an inducement to enter a transaction . As in Rob Crossland tweeting, in response to a question on how much Allam's paid for Rovers "we'd have to pay him!! #bs"

I have some o them 50p shares, never thought owt of them, didn't realise they were still 'active' thought they just helped save the club!

Their value in terms of control is diluted as more shares are issued to directors. But the company has net liabilities anyway, so makes no odds.

So he has. The best bit is Philb now suggesting to Rob Crossland that I started this rumour, despite Easty and others posting on there 24 hours before this thread started "The rumour is apparently Allam has shown a vested interest to the tune of £4,000,000." Oh dear.

I think that Rob Crosslands comments put an end to the rumours and this thread.
