| What is all of this depressing nonsense !!!
Campese is 31 years of age and can play for the next 3 or 4 years. He has more guile and craft than any player we have had for the past 30 years and some 'fans' are saying get rid. He has a hamstring injury which is not career threatening, let him get fit and win us some trophy's.
Kelly is a great strike player, once he is fit we will see the best of him again. As for going back to Oz, there is no chance of him getting a contract now that he has taken Cronulla to court. Give him some proper Rovers support. (P.S. he is Blair's best pal)
Matty Marsh has not had twenty games for us and some of you seem to think he should be bossing the team about, get real. Hopefully with Campo's guidance he will be the 'Boss' in a few years time and we will get ten years of it.

To be honest good as he is and he is good we're not getting value for money so it's no good saying he's got three or four years left if he's sat on the sidelines which is what's happening

Born and bred down Holderness Road, New Bridge Rd to be exact. I'm only in Grimsby with work, I've travelled all over the country for work m8 but I'll always be a Yorkshireman. |

It's a shame Campese has had so many injuries in his career.
If he had had 5 injury free years he would have been one of the greats.

when you signed him from the raiders they paid half his very big salary to get him off there books largely due to the amount of time spent on the treatment table it was well known he had dodgy knees no matter how good any player is when he is a big chunk of your cap you need him on the field more often than not, I think to not try and find away to release him from his contract would be suicidal for your league ambitions in the future his body is clearly broken and had enough of this high contact punishment it has taken all his career it happens move on it was a gamble it has not paid off we all make them sometimes it works more often it does not, you should be looking for his replacement for next year now if your club has any sense at all |
