Did you get rid of all the voices in your head? Do you now miss them and the things that they said?: |

Eh? Scott Moore is far from average and I rate him higher than Houghton. Moore has England caps and is more versatile, can cover the halves and loose forward and is an all round better player. I'd have him at Rovers tomorrow if I could.

Briscoe has bags of potential, but (colours aside) if he stays at Hull FC, he will become nothing but a good player, when he could easily become a world class player.
In my opinion, if he knows what is best for him, he will not be at Hull in 3 yrs time.
However, having heard him talk in a couple of interviews, he has a high opinion of himself already, so maybe he is willing to settle for where he is at now.'"
Tom Briscoe is a natural centre IMO and could do a job there for England in the future in that position so not sure why playing him on the wing his going to help him develop cos when you consider this is his 3rd season in the 1st team.
Like you say though maybe he's happy to lap up the attention being the "golden boy" of a team where the vast majority of the rest of the team and inept coaching staff get crucified by their fans on a regular basis.

| Craig Hall will be far better as cover than Ratu and Latus in the backs. Neither done anything special, not even for the 20s, both lack genuine pace, which Hall has.

Tom Briscoe will become nothing but a good player?
That statement implies he's yet to become a good player. Can't wait unroll he does take this giant leap and becomes a "good player" he might even get international recognition then.

| Tom Briscoe (this pains me to type) is the genuine article, who could possibly play NRL (if he has any sense to get away from Hull). There are not many backs in SL who are capable of making this step, but he is certainly up there.

Answer me a question can a man with a full head of hair BECOME bald.
Then answer me another question as a general consensus which is better having hair or not?
Pick through that and you will see how you are talking ballocks.

Yes, a man with a full head of hair can become bald, many men will testify.
The statement should have read "Briscoe will only remain a good player"
To say he will "only become" suggests he hasn't yet.

So a very very good player overtime with poor coaching can 'become a good player'.
If the said poster really though the coaching was poor he could come to a conclusion that players at Hull generally go backwards which makes the comment become if he stays at hull he will 'only become a good player'.
Methinks you have taken a comment completly out of context.

[quote="The Reason":3e09qe5x]Hi Andy
The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

| On the subject of Craig Hall I don't really blame Agar for releasing him. He's been at Hull a long time and Agar has obviously run out of patience. You've got to let players go to bring players in and Agar probably felt that if it was going to happen for Craig Hall it would have done by now.
Even so I think he is well worth giving a chance at Rovers.
I was going to say it is well worth taking a gamble on him but actually it's not much of a gamble at all. I can't imagine he will be in the top earners at Rovers so what's to lose?
If he doesn't produce the goods he'll be a fringe player on low wages who can be called on if needed. He wouldn't exactly be the first to have that status and every club has them.
On the other hand he could be a marvellous signing because we all know he has the talent. If so he'll be around for years to come long after Willie Mason has faded into memory. I really don't know if Craig Hall will achieve this or not but I do think his chances are better with a fresh start at Rovers.

You will probably be proved right. As pointed out countless times, his pace going forward is very good.If he can get his tackling sorted out there is no reason he should not be an asset for Rovers.
