Did you get rid of all the voices in your head? Do you now miss them and the things that they said?: |

So, if you are taking your wife, you won't need to book the kennels will you?

He already has your number off those business cards you leave in phone boxes, I think you're a bit optimistic expecting £15 an hour to be honest.

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

| Aye, busy as at the moment, sorry.
Anyway, much as Easthullfc possibly brought a deal of the mockery on himself, there's really no need for the personal insults, on any side, or for making his holiday plans the central focus of this thread about the recent friendly...
Watched it last night. Scrappy, but that's to be expected. Paea and, in his short spell, Feka looked in good nick for them. Didn't see any especial reason for their excitement over Rankin. But tbf, none of the halfs really stood out. I thought some of our 'fringe' forwards looked good - green, cox and Lovegrove. But I guess they were playing slightly weaker opposition than Poore, Weyman, Langley, Costigan and Larroyer.
The kids on both sides went well, but it was clearly a little short of a full intensity SL game.
Had a run, avoided any major injuries, that's the main thing.

What did you make of Keating watching it back MR? He seemed to do ok at the time , but I think you can often see more on video than live.

| He seemed pretty composed, without being massively threatening.
It was hard following all the interchanges - I thought Keal Carlile was Keating for a good chunk of the second half. In the North end, you'd have seen his number sooner, I guess. Rob Chadwick in commentary made the same mistake, I think.
Dopey sin-binning aside, I thought J. Hodgson looked sharpest of our ball-handling pivots. And Hall probably outshone Keal Keating and Kris Carlile. Beharrell didn't look out of place either. There really were a lot of interchanges, weren't there?!

I would imagine it is because Hudds play their first SL match on the following Friday.

Very unlikely, City v Spurs will take top billing (quite rightly), whilst Scunny also have a game. It's only a friendly so it's not really regisitering with the local media, despite it being "Radio Rovers".
