| Back on topic, Will Jubb has been promised a game on Easter Monday at Toulouse. Depending on injuries there could be more younger players getting a game in France.

Wouldn't underestimate Toulouse on their own patch, also remember the blazers want them in SL, be interesting to see who the referee is.

Yeh, the "blazers" want them in SL that much they made them start from L1 this time round, and last time round in 2009 refused them a license & dumped them in the Championship for three seasons.
Insinuating there's some sort of pro-Toulouse conspiracy, give your head a wobble.

My mistake, getting them mixed up with Toronto.

Does utilising the squad players on Monday indicate Sheens intension to play our strongest team at Leigh next Saturday ?

The financial reward of beating Leigh and getting another SL tie would be huge if televised. Imagine if it ended up eventually being FC, that would be brilliant!

It makes sense to rotate the squad for the Monday game, it would be a tough game in a normal week but over Easter and a CC game the following Saturday makes it extra tough.
No prizes for winning every game so might as well try out the young uns.

It really wouldn't amount to much at all, you make knack all cash from the cup unless you make the final, and the best part of this season is not having to play you lot so no thanks to a cup derby.

Yes.
'Strongest' team is a moveable feast depending on form and fitness, but the intention was to involve the entire squad over the Easter period, play no one 3/3 and have a fresh squad against Leigh. The outstanding displays of Wardill and Jubb in Toulouse may have caused a minor re-think, neither was expected to play more than 1/3 over Easter, now they might do.
The Leigh cup tie is a game Rovers are targeting, we want to make a statement.

| Jubby was great as always and will never let anyone down, I can see him getting more game time in the near future and Wardill did well on his return and second row looks to suit his style of play better, I look forward to seeing more of him too. On the highlights reel the try saving tackle (3rd Minute of Clip) by Will Oakes was out of the top drawer that was worth the entry fee alone. If we conceded at that point it would have been Game set and match a lot earlier. I went to Toulouse and to be honest that kid had a great game too and he was still chasing back in the final minute even though he was playing his 3rd game in 8 days, I listened to Radio Humberside in my ear whilst there and they did not know which player was which, this made the whole listening experience pointless and the amount of players they got mixed up was ridiculous. I thought Abdull was awful and ZDC isn't a half for me and that is why we failed to create, if we had creative halves then we would of triumphed in that game.

Why is there not being a derby a good thing?

In the good old days derby matches were some thing to look forward to. Two matches a season, one home, one away unless we met in a cup tie. Then the RFL started playing silly buggers. The usual games plus an additional one to make up game numbers plus magic weekends. Playing four competitive matches plus a pre season friendly! Even when they stopped playing some teams three times in the regular season there were still four if you include the friendly.
Talk about overkill.

a fair assessment and point, at this stage our halves in my opinion are not good enough to get us through the middle 8s, we do need some zip there, abdul to loose forward I would move quinlan to stand off based on his aussie clips, hes also pretty weak at one on one tackles as last man,but can break the line and is elusive, give moss a run at full back surely all the Bradford fans aren't wrong,
