We have had injuries and suspensions in groups but I don't think the squad has been utilised all that well either. We now have our two dummy halves back and I'm sure Little John has experience playing scrum half but we haven't seen him there all season despite the injuries in that position. Blair is supposed to play in the 2nd row but I can't remember him doing so all season.
This season has been very difficult but we still have 17 games to go, it may well come good for us yet !!

Dont start with Tilse again last night he spent half the night doing nothing again what a wast of money they must be better out their even in the championship

Tilse was very average last night, but gets everyone on his back, whereas Green is even worse every week and nobody appears to notice.

I agree Green is on a downward spiral, I suspect he has sorted his 2017 contract in Aus and is going through the motions as Taylor did after he signed for Wigan

Don't let your dislike of Taylor get in the way of the truth.

I've said it before about Green runs really hard but rarely breaks a tackle his defence is average in a way very similar to Tilse except Tilse is the better defender yet ones treated a lot better than the other by the fans

Apparently Green has signed for Newcastle in Aus don't think he's good enough for the NRL personally but wish him well

walker is the only prop you have who puts in a decent shift in both attack and defence. The others don't offer anywhere near enough for a SL club

As individuals they have strengths and weaknesses, but I agree, as a group they aren't offering enough. Goes for much of the team tbf.

One of the things that has impressed me about Hull this year is that, from what I've seen, Bowden and Chris Green look the part. We knew Taylor is good player, and that Watts is talented - but if we'd have signed either of JB or CG, I'd not have been impressed. A few hull fans were concerned about the imbalance between back and front row too, iirc.

As Dave K has pointed out previously, using quota spots on steady props is a waste.
