| Quote: PAUL M "Bridge and Fox are a terrible combination and why Peacock in the backrow again
Bridge has got some of the best assist stats in the league for a centre. Fox deserves his chance. I'm not too bothered, seems like Smith has done the right thing by dropping the underperformers.

| Quote: Mr. Zucchini Head "Probably not, but only because New Zealand's backs aren't as good as the Aussies. Had Bridge and Fox been the partnership last week the score would have been no different.
At the end of the day, we can blame McGuire, Smith and Briscoe for their positional play, but when there is that much room to run at the only ones to blame are the forwards. They were getting dominated and getting pulled into the middle which leaves massive spaces. If the Kiwi's v Aussies game was anything to go by it will be the same all over again on Saturday.'"
Thats a matter of opinion. As a matter of fact New Zealand are reigning world champions and unlucky to only draw with the Aussies last time out.

| Quote: Pumpkin From East Hull "The problem as far as i see it is peacock in the 2nd row leaves the winger, centre and half back exposed as he can't slide as quick as a 2nd row needs to meaning that the gap is created by enforced poor decision making. This was proven when westwood came on and the right hand side tightend up.'"
Bang on.
And with that in mind, I can't understand why Jamie Jones Buchanan isn't in the squad or am I forgetting that he's injured?

| Not really one for slating a player because of who he plays for. Good luck to fox.
It's sad really that the best players we have for that spot are an inexperienced 19 yr old whos played centre through his junior career and only 29 first grade games and a defensive liability who hasn't had a decent game for months.

Wouldn't go that far.
He may make the odd mistake, but he's no worse than a lot of players. He's been pretty solid most of the year.

| Well Mr Fox, you're in the spotlight now, in a pressure game too, show the rest of us you can handle it.

I think its the right move though. Tom Briscoe has had a flavour of international rugby vs the best team in the world and is still only 18. Years left in him at the top flight.

| 100% correct decision by Tony Smith to play Fox over the ineffectual Tom Briscoe for the multiple reasons I've already stated.
I think Bridge is a well rounded centre who has decent footwork.
The half-back pairing is exciting.
I too share concerns about Peacock in the second-row but I've got a feeling Peacock will actually start in the front-row and Morley will play right second-row insode Bridge as they have done for Wire this year I believe...
