What is the point of this thread? If you went last night & enjoyed it (wich I did) does it matter if the Rhinos or any other fans dont come?our business is based on us at our ground & untill the ground is big enough to allow folk to walk up & pay on the gate we will allways be down on numbers, about three people who used to come to a few games with me now wont come as they dont hold season passes & cant get in the east stand. That is about 15 attendances each year from my friends now multiply that by the numbers in the east stand it starts to add up. Secondly you cant blame home or away fans who have been before not wanting t go in the south end( I would not go in there if it was free) plus it was on TV. Our away support whilst comendable is of no relevence except to us & the lift it can give the team any business that relys on us turning up are in trouble anyway.

I heard on KCFM a woman (KR fan) say that she didnt attend because there were no East Stand tickets left... im sure others did the same. To have a go at us for a crap away support when we normally bring more and sold out the tickets we got is rediculous.'"

you didnt sell them all though, as you said you sent 300 back.
yes its a poor stand but so what, a die hard fan would still be in there giving it some.

There was a question as to why the away support at Hull grounds is, "supposedly", poor and I was giving a legitimate response. icon_eek.gif

So there were 2 golf stands there on Friday night then??? Or was you at a different game

Perhaps the `massive` turnout of Leeds fans hid under the same umbrella

The FACT is it was an embarrassing turnout for the `double champions` icon_lol.gif

Neither of the Hull sides bring the biggest suuport south to Quins- Wigan, Leeds, Saints all bring more.

It can be but TBH a lot of away supporters who have kids don't visit either Hull club due to small elements of the home support if you get my drift.

OK, so what are Leeds fans supposed to do when the club says the allocation has gone and Hull KR advise Leeds fans not to travel without a pre purchased ticket... do you see where I am going with this?

Leeds don't travel well. I have to accept that in your first visit to Belle Vue when you were promoted, I arrived at the ground and thought I was at an away game. Alright, most of you were drunk, but you do turn up in numbers.

You tend to find that the bigger teams survive on the glory fans. Wigan, Leeds or Saints don't travel well when compared to their home gate. I'm not sure that the bigger teams take much more, if any more, than we do to away games more than thirty miles away. Their hardcore isn't much different to ours.

Watching TV on Friday, it struck me that the away support looked no different to when Wakey are there, and Rhinos are the supposed supporters power house.

And FWIW, you were unlucky on Friday. Webster's "try" maybe was a knock-on, but there was enough doubt to give you the benefit of it. Looking forward to a couple of weeks time.

That's strange as we were your 3rd highest home attendance last year after the mighty Wigan & St's.

Excuses, excuses... I don't like going to Warrington... but I do.... there is a minority at most grounds.... don't use that as an excuse for lithargy!

i know several leeds fans who wont travel to both hull clubs, because of hulls reputation for trouble, eventhough they they havnt personally experienced any problems themselves on previous visits. on a personal note i went to craven park to watch cas last year, and i must admit i didnt like the away stand, this wasnt helped by the poor weather.

Actually the gap in the North stand was the Extra 300 tickets Rovers had allocated to Leeds but as Leeds didn't sell out there first allocation till mid morning on Thursday Leeds said it was to late to sell the extra tickets that was available to them hence the gap .....those tickets then went on sale on Friday in Hull and where to only tickets available to latecomers Rovers fans as all the standing tickets that Rovers supporters could have bought were already sold
