We are talking about on the pitch, this Rovers side squad which has been moulded into a side that will challenge for honours while teams such as yourself are just happy to exist all be it fair play to the board because at least they decided that beating Rovers and finishing above them was Number 1 priority this year after two seasons of playing second fiddle.
Rovers don't need a massive turnover of players as we are nearly their, obviously the problem of not having a proper 6 will be addressed but other than that it is a squad that has been formed to play together for quite a few years to come yet.
The halfs will both be 24
Pack leaders like Clinton and Newton and hopefully Mason approaching 30 and the supposed prime of a forwards career
topped up with a plethora of English talent that has been the backbone of the club for a good 3-4 years with the likes of Briscoe, Fox, Welham, Murrell, Cockayne, Netherton, Colbon.
I'd like to see a top number 9 at the club but who would be the question. Hopefully Hodgson can step upto the plate

possibly Hall??
More than happy with that squad formation but we aren't at the formation yet

Willie Mason is apparently getting one, now come on Mrs B. You are good with number but with all these factorys on offer we'd have spent more than Warrington

What I meant was her implying that Morgan was really eager to sign Radford, whereas it was maybe just more testing the water with Hull. Only say that because I really don't get what he would have offered new to the team, would rather give Wheeldon a proper chance for example (just me though). |

Really? Ever thought that people on here aren't very bright. OK, I'm generalising, but when you get people claiming Rovers are "light years" ahead of FC on the pitch when we'll actually finish above you in the league table does suggest some rather inadequate reasoning capabilities. And some believe you're actually a goose. Do you type with your talons or your beak BTW? |
