| Craig Huby is free to leave the Giants according to a Huddersfield fan, posting on the Cas forum.
Worth putting in a bid, if true?

Hope not he's rubbish never takes line on just walks around to take kicks in play that's why they called him Jamie Coward he'd defends on the wing so he doesn't have to tackle surely we can find better than him

If Huby and Crabtree are on their way out, it would make perfect sense

Yeah, it's been doing the rounds.
I know it is slim pickings this late in the recruitment cycle, but even so.
I'm not necessarily advocating it, but Jarrod Sammut was relegated to the third tier with Workington. I know, hardly something to highlight on the CV. But he's 'only' 29, might be available, and hasn't been retired since the end of 2013. Fair enough, he's never been in the same class as Prince was in his prime, but Prince has been playing Masters touch rugby these last couple of years.

If Walker goes to the Giants I feel he will let the club down the club that stood by him when he was in serious bother with the police, short memories some players, surely he has some respect or is it just greed?

He was not guilty or the charges were dismissed or whatever. We'd have (rightly) dropped him like the hottest of potatoes, if he'd been found guilty of wrongdoing, but innocent until proven otherwise, innit?
As for greed, if my company was struggling and another employer offered me a good opportunity, I'd look into it, and wouldn't feel greedy.
Is the club greedy for not honouring contracts of players it no longer wants or offering reduced terms to some players? You could say that they should have played better, but they could, legitimately IMO, argue that they were part of a squad that was too thin, which was beyond their control.
Mercenaries, vultures etc - it's just exploiting opportunities and looking after your self interest.

Do your meters include running on and off the field?

Not setting the bar massively high, tbh.
Pre-season, if I'd been told Hull would win the cup and finish third, I'd have assumed Pritchard must be about to have great season personally. Hull's success had a different flavour as it turned out, and Lee Radford, in particular taught British RL a lesson.
