It's called speculating to accumulate DUDE! Your opinion is typical of your small minded club. You wait until you're in real dire straits and then market theRALLY ROUND THE ROBINS campaign!!! Don't think that losing at WEMBLEY will have particularly back fired as anyone in sports marketing will tell you that it's really positive to make a final, especially during the process of building a club as Mr Pearson is doing very effectively (and much to your obvious annoyance - see your previous post) at the current time .........BEL13EVE!!

No not at all why would I be? lol We have won the cup in the not so distant past, your only clinging to the fact we haven't won it at a certain stadium which is no longer there, and that is the only thing you have on Hull FC hence it appears in profile sigs, avatars and is your favourite song. It is such a spectacular show of envy that when Hull eventually win it (hopefully not to far off!) I think Rovers will have to fold due to their fans imploding on themselves. |

Thats the bit that is the most amusing, the view that we're jealous of their one trophy in 21 years. I'd love to have the success of Leeds or Wigan, but that takes time to build and isn't handed on a plate.
Its Hull's belief that other clubs look up top them that makes it all the more funny when they fall on their ar5es time and time again. I'll be honest if they were more humble then I'd have been happy for them to win on Saturday.

But at the start of each season the forum is full of expectation and hopes for the coming season. I mainly saw FC fans hoping/predicting a top 4 finish, as did I. I don't really see this as a delusion of grandeur. On paper we had a squad capable of it and discovered some exciting new players. No one expected Hudds to finish first did they and I'm not sure any team didn't hype themselves up at the beginning of the season. Some individuals might have done but I'm pretty sure it wasn't the general consensus on the Hull forum. Our chairman said what he wanted, don't think that means it will happen, I'm pretty sure yours said something similar?

The only difference is our chairman and coach didn't plaster it all over that we were going to end up 4th or by the end of gentles second season top two, okay your chairman was right you got to wembley but sadly (well it was funny actually) fell down at the last hurdle what was it stage fright from your big names, and then to top it all of Pearson comes out with we will be there again next season this time we will win, no pressure on the team or coach there then, Pitts then says in the paper about getting to the grand final er isn't he injured I could go on all day (I normally do) but must go and clean  |
