Funnily enough a taxi driver mentioned on Saturday Paea but I thought Catalans with his brother. Yet he said he loves it where he lives (think he said Brough.) and I might be surprised. Well I am, but if Hull have offered a very good package then why not stay in the area. Plus I'm sure AP, SM and PG have sold him the dream too.

No I think a chairman or anyone for that matter should put the record straight if it's in the best interests of the team or club itself like Hudgell did with Taylor last year

If the agent had said to the mail that he's still considering an offer from kr yet had privately told kr he's already signed for another club then thats different and could understand Hudgell speaking out

As Paea had already announced he was going to leave I don't see what difference it makes to hudgell wether he leaves for NRL or another SL club

Doesn't matter, both clubs will still be In the same position as each other for years to come. Rovers will replace him with someone as they always have. Replaced green with burns, Newton with Paterson and so on. One thing you can't fault rovers with is picking out fringe NRL players and them turning out to be decent in SL.

As I asked you earlier why did Hudgell need to mention Peter Gentle and Hull FC's own position in this ? Hull FC will announce their own signings as per their own timetable I would have thought.

What does it matter how much he's being paid? You do yourself no favours implying it's all about money, you sound almost as bitter as your chairman.
Both clubs have a budget and within that budget we can afford to pay Paea 'x' amount, that he felt was 'too good to turn down' according to your chairman. It's just tough for you, basically.

Our forum like taking any chance they get to poke fun at hudgell and kr so don't see why you are suprised at this it's all part of the rivalry

I'll be honest I never listen to what agents have to say as they are only interested in making their client and therfore themselves as much money as possible.

We've had it last year with Prince' agent telling us how keen he was to come and set to sign, when he never had any intention of signing.

Hudgell seems to think that by giving sandercock a 1 year deal it provides stability at the club when it obviously doesn't

Having said that even if sandercock had a 3 year deal if another club offers him more money to play infront of a bigger crowd at better ground and also have better training facilities he'd be crazy to turn it down

Hence my surprise at him turning down Wigan.
