I understand that but with the work that's gone on you can't be two months behind after 2 months. It's not as if nothing has happened in the last two months is it.

A guy at the forum who is working on the project stated that the had thrown a lot of labour
at the west stand section and it is ahead of schedule. So it makes it look like the north stand is behind.
That should rectify itself because a lot more labour can be transferred back to the North stand section.

Neil Hudgel stated that it will only be open for 2 home games.

Easty.... The Building trade is fluid...and takes very little to create a hold up... whilst at the current time they may be able to do little things inside the west section... they will not be able to do concrete works or even mortar works as building regs prevent it being done in weather conditions that we have atm.. so it forces a hold up... and whilst it may seem a small one.. it becomes major as it has that knock on affect...

They had a similar problem when we had all that rain last year which delayed ground works... small hold ups .... but they infuriate over time...

I'm bothered more so about the derby as it equates to probably 50k. That's 50k we can ill afford to lose you clown!!

I thought we started the groundworks earlier than schedule so we could get a good head start before the bad weather kicked in over the winter, obviously it's not worked out somewhere.

I would hate to see the North stand been used for away fans, our club and more so the fans deserve the opportunity to use these brand new facilities.

If you dont allow away fans to use the north stand it would be pointless building it in the first place because you couldnt fill your ground as it is ? (that wasnt a sly dig btw as I know we dont fill the kc either)

The only odd thing is how a week's bad weather [icould[/i push it back to 2014. Slippage of that extent, from July 2013 to Feb 2014 can't be down to a bit of snow. Could it be that the council are deferring some of the spend to next year's capital budget?
