Clown1953 is going to be very disapointed with this post, he was winning "International Thicko of the Year 2009" up until then.

Oh, come on PMH. Think outside of the box. Look what boxing did with the WBA, WBC and IBF.
"Clown1953" and "we are hull" could both hold world titles.

Mind you, the unifying bout would be something worth seeing. icon_lol.gif

Quote: Matty "If FC weren't so e, regardless of how poor the stand is, it would have sold out like it has done in the past.

I do agree the stand is way overpriced, but if the roles were reversed I'm pretty confident Rovers would have brought more than a pathetic 600
This delusion that there'll only be 600 Hull fans is amusing me.

We bought our Golf stand tickets weeks ago - and I know of loads of others who have too - for the simple reason that we won't EVER, after that Good Friday, stand in the South "Stand" again.

Nothing to do with loyalty, potential drubbing, Agar, players attitude or whatever excuse you lot are attempting to stick on us to justify why that pit has not sold out.

It's not sold out because it's £20 quid for the Golf or £20 quid for the South. You can't see the game in the South, so it doesn't take Einstein to work out where we'll be. As Rovers fans have proven not to be interested in buying for the Golf stand we've taken advantage. There was certainly plenty of availability still left when we got ours - we could pick our seats from a vast space.

Looks like you need to be asking why you Home gates aren't improving and this will be the lowest Home support for you since the Super League derbies began, not questioning us.

Plenty of us will be there tomorrow, but thanks for the concern

Quote: t.m.t.b.f. "How rovers fans have the audacity to criticise the fc fans is beyond me. 80% of their so called 8000 strong army have been missing for the past 20 years.

Get some money spent and get a decent stand built for away support and most fans will go. Do as you are told like it says in the criteria or f.o. back to the NL.'"
Like you did with the upgrading to the KC..............Oh wait!!
Its easy to say isnt it.
You try doing it ffs.

Now you be honest with me. Do you think Rovers upping the price (not offering discount) for an absolutely shocking view has also effected peoples decision? Wanna try again perhaps?
Infact ill open it out to the FC floor anyone wanna answer it?

Does my first sentance not answer the question? I cant speak for 1500 fans but people DO NOT want to watch a match from the South Stand.
You didnt answer my question?

Thought not.... icon_lol.gif

Why not ask would Hull fans pay to go in the South if Rovers hadnt charged such ridiculus prices for a very limited view.

Methinks you only want to hear one answer. icon_biggrin.gif

Quote: Mrs Barista "Not sure TBH. Obviously there's an element of fans whose attendance is dependent on form and success, but I think there are some who, having sampled the South Stand, just wouldn't pay £20, especially as it's textbook Hudgell to double the prices just for us. For some it would actually be quite satisfying for the game not to sell out, as Rovers will have budgeted for a sellout.

Although I'm still confused about the continued debate on here. The game is a sellout. It said on your website this week that the fixture is certain to be a sellout, so they'll have to say it is anyway to save face.
1) why would you be confused about the continued debate, it hasn't sold out, so therefore is being talked about. With regards to Rovers saying it was "certain to be a sell out," why wouldn't they presume it would be? Every other has been, so you would have thought it was a fairly safe bet. But then again, you have just used it to have a pathetic dig.

2)Why would we have to save face? It's your lot not making up the numbers, so I would say, it's out of Rovers' control.

Quote: Gordon Gekko "...but 100% true.

The south stand is a joke and i wouldn't ever pay a penny to 'view' a game from there and there is no change in any balance of power either. Hull are a much bigger club than Rovers so stop kidding yourself, put your sock away and switch your computer off else you may well go blind
You can try to put as much spin on it as you like, the fact is, many of you are an extemely fickle bunch of supporters.
I personaly have been watching Rovers 4 decades and during that time travelled all over the country, even when we were in the old second division, and believe me i've been to some dumps during that time.
I've also been soaked to the skin ,half frozen to death been ripped off financialy, attacked and had bricks and other items thrown at me at one or two grounds.
Did it stop me from going to support the team i love to support?, did i turn around and complain about the state of those grounds, vowing never to return to them ever again?, the answer to those questions is an emphatic no, i continued to follow my team regardless of any of adversities or shortcomings, that is what you do if you are a genuine supporter, but i guess you and many of your so called Hull Fc supporters will always find an excuse because it suits you to do so while hiding behind the pretence of been a top club.
The shift in power realy has taken place and if you think for one moment that it will be short lived then think again, with future plans (and there are plenty) both on and off the field, the present shift in power will continue for quite ome time to come.
In many ways, now is like the late seventies and early eighties when rovers were top dogs and Hull were in the old second division before eventualy gaining promotion and and having their most succesfull era in RL overtaking rovers during their gradual decline in the late eighties and into the ninetees, you should remember the old saying, what goes around comes around, we are back and on top so get used to it.
It aint going to change for some time to come!!. icon_smile.gif
