| What a completely pointless Edit-AS competition this is, who gives a flying whether Yeaman has more studs in his boots or Welhams hair colour shows up better on Sky3D.
England won a great game of rugby atthe weekend, executed a brilliant game plan and kept their heads to see out what was comfortable win in the end.
i personally think mcnanmara deserves a hell of a lot of credit for this performance because no one (Sam Tomkins excluded) was stand out, they all did their Job executed his gameplan and did it well, they let NZ lose their heads and this played into our hands.
At this time I couldn;t give a Edit-AS who's the best centre, winger or half back we just need to get behinf the team who ever is playing and hope they can up this performance next week and do the same to Australia, big task but it seems a lot more possible.
The Welham, Yeaman debate can wait til next year and be decided on the pitch.
Think you all should look back over the posts and see how infantile you all look. My dads bigger than yours, bit pathetic really.... Grow up everyone.

| Quote: Mrs Barista "Not intimating anything. You've said Yeaman's not as good as Welham and implied that McNamara made a mistake in picking him in your opinion. You referenced Shenton as the automatic pick at centre. Most would agree that Atkins played very well this season. Yet despite all this "evidence", Yeaman is voted into the Dream Team ahead of all 3. It's not a panel of FC supporters, and as you say, is perhaps under-represented in terms of the Hull viewpoint. I say "well done Yeaman".
There's nothing more certain than that this coming weekend England will get turned over on the back of errors and missed tackles by Yeaman and/or Briscoe, but the fact is that McNamara's selection, supporting their Dream Team selection, has been justified up to now.'"
What you've got to realise is when the dream team doesn't include any Hull KR player it is meaningless however when Dobson was the 7 it was conclusive evidence that he was the ''best 7 in SL'.

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

I agree after last weeks game I said that McNamara had come up with a good game plan and he's done it again this week, maybe he's not such an awful coach after all?
I really don't know what's happened to New Zealand, they seemed devoid of ideas Marshall looked completely uninterested and Foran was completely anonymous after the off side try in the second minute.
My worry for next weekend is that a much more conservative and compact Australia will turn up. At Wembley we made about fifteen errors and they made about thirteen, it was almost as if both teams got a bit caught up with playing at Wembley. Australia won't do that next week.

Well I enjoyed it, I found it rather amusing.

I have no idea how you've extrapolated that from the last four or five pages, exactly the opposite would seem to apply.

Must admit I found it kiind of funny (when not embarrassed) it was a bit like the drunken fights you see round town.
Mrs B - the drunken one who think they know it all, tries to belittle all around but just ends up coming across smug and self righteous and enevitably someone thumps them.
Zod - Short fused and incendiary - the one who enivitably thumps the above
GML - The one who has best intentions, wades in to break it up and ends up taking more of a pounding than the instigators.
Marfa - The Edit-AS up girlfriend, wont let it lie, screams and shouts alot and ends up getting arrested. Pictured as that girl with the shoe at the derby match.

Ha! That, I reckon is scarily accurate, not forgetting WormIHand popping up to stir the pot when it looked as if it might calm down.

G.M.L obviously downplayed the significance of the SL dream team.
Quote: Sandra The Terrorist "Yet there is strong opinion that a fit Shenton would be in the England team and he wasn't in the Dream Team.
And there are not many votes cast by journalists to be honest.
Andy Wilson once offered me and DDD to chance to join in and cast votes as there was little or no representation from the city of Hull.
It's a small community the RL press.'"

Not at all.
Its nice for players to be included after a tough season.
However it is not on the same scale as the man of steel vote is the point i was making.

I think kearney has happened to NZ. Great player but not convinced about his coaching abilities

Maybe, they had a distinct lack of backs due to injuries. Mannering might have been a centre ten years ago, but not now.
That said, their supposedly monster pack got monstered so the backs were never going to see much ball.
