| Quote Mild Rover="Mild Rover"Moderately. On the other hand, Wheeldon would offer as much, certainly by 2012, I'd have thought - except maybe a bit of versatility. He probably won't ever be as good as Radford in his prime - but nor will Radford again.'"
Not sure about that, Wheeldon prob offers a similar amount going forward but defensively is pretty poor. Radford is a very good defensive player and maybe this is what we need. Still not sure I'd want him but I can see what he'd add.

| I think whats swaying the deal is the legal help Radders is getting for his new bar , which will become a pivotal point for Rovers players and fans alike

Hard worker, solid defence, better than Netherton, Wheeldon, Walker and definitely Cook. Don't think I'd be as adversed to his signing as others seem to be.

Really ? albeit the Derby love in when you all decided you love Agar again..however most weeks on your forum it's Agar in ..Agar our..Agar in...Agar out and no hokey cokey ........
Morgs wipes the floor with Agar and you know it , at the moment Agar is in favour with you but he lacks tactics ( yes you won the derbies) but derbies this season apart tactically he is clueless , i admit you won the last derby due to Rovers over confidence, but Agar is a poor coach with little confidence and lack of respect from his players .
Morgs is a great coach .

I think morgan is a good coach but he certainly can't be considered great anywhere west of the river hull. If he leaves rovers and goes on to win trophies consistently elsewhere then he may have a claim to the title

| This is a very interesting debate with some shocking results.
Rovers fans think Justin is great and Agar is an incompetant fool.
Hull fans think Justin is rubbish and Agar is great (well on this forum anyway, on their own he is an incompetant fool every other week).
So fans of the opposing teams dislike the others teams, players, fans, pets etc.. who'd have thought it..
I'll try and take of my red and white hat and give an honest appraisal of the two sides of the river coachwise...
Morgan.
Young manager, achieved a remarkable amount in his time in his coaching career considering what he has had to work with. Took 2 NL1 clubs to the CC semi's. Hit all his initial targets with HKR. Promotion, stayed in the league, consolodated, then got to 4th.
I suppose the proof will be in the pudding if he can now kick on with HKR and really compete a major trophy. Last years PO's where probably his biggest blot as he was deemed to have got this wrong tactically. If he leaves I would expect him to get a top job somewhere else and probably win something there.
Agar
Young up and coming English coach. (not many of those about). Seems to be liked by his team (if not always by the fans) but his cv is reasonably impressive. Took FC to a CC final in his 1st year. Picked up some rubbish from Sharpe but has assembled a team that seems to be able to win matches even without key positions filled. His biggest criticism is probably the teams lack of flair but TBH its a fine line between winning ugly and losing pretty. IMO his biggest downfall is his accent (sad as it seems).

| I still think he'll be a Hull player next year.
After my initial rebuke of the idea I'm actually warming to the idea of us singing him the more I think of it. Obviously depende what we're paying him but, In our last few games our defence seems to have got pretty slack, wheeldon for all his efforts going forward comes across as a pretty lazy defender who just hangs an arm out. Radford is if nothing else an excellent defender. If Radford replaced Wheeldon, wasn't silly money then it may be worth a punt.
