Only problem is he seems quite injury prone, maybe just unlucky at Wigan but he seems always to have a niggling injury holding him back

| Kris Keating and Feleti Mateo are out of contract at Parramatta at the end of the season and also Jamie Soward at St George.
Without any quality english stand-off's around i'd take any of these 3

I'd stick with Murrell and get him on a speed program in the off season. Was a pretty decent 6 a few years back.
It'll also keep the wage bill down

| i'd rather give kristian bell a go next year instead of murrell, he's done a job in difficult circumstances but the lad has never had pace and isn't going to get more as he gets older he should be playing loose forward.
If we don't bring in a proven 6 (which is what we need to get to the next level)which I hope we do, then lets bite the bullet and try a young un like bell or even hardcastle if we can get some more bulk on them in the off season.

Keating is going to the Bulldogs, Mateo to the New Zealand Warriors. OTOH Wikipedia has nothing to say about Soward's future...

Never seen Kristian Bell hope he is as good as you say.
I think he will be introduced when the time is right, as was Liam Watts. Three whole years and a spell on loan at Gateshead before Watts became an overnight sensation.
Finch is a solid NRL player who has never made the step up to State of Origin or test level. I think Wigan have made a major error because if Sam Tompkins was on our books I wouldn't want to shove him out to another position to accomodate Finch.
Tomkins is a blinding talent to Finch's everyday efficiency. I think Finch would have been more useful to Rovers, and Rovers more useful to him.
I confidently predict Wigan will fare less well next year than they have this, despite or more accurately because of their influx of middle tier Melbourne Storm imports.
Wigan should be building their team around Tomkins not shoving him aside for Finch.

Completely agree. Tomkins is a sublime talent. Ridiculous to move him around IMO.

| Scotty's never had pace but i've always liked him at stand off, especially more recently where he's looked back to his old self. I would however prefer to see him back at loose man next season.
I've heard alot about Kristian Bell without seeing him play but seems to be highly rated. Im sure it would benefit him getting regular games for the 20's than the 18's though

He'll be partnering Finch in the halves with Leuluai at hooker so he wont be moving position to accommodate him

| Krisstian Bell is not ready to be a regular fixture in the team yet.
Lets not heap pressure on him.
He will get a contract i beleive however and id be happy for him to make a few games in 2011

| FAO His Bobness and any other clueless fan you clearly know nothing about anything that Wigan will do as thats the case i suggest you refrain from commenting on opposition clubs unless you know the facts and try and not show your bitterness at having lost out on Finch to a far superior team Finch will NOT be forcing Tomkins to change his position he WILL be partnering him at 6 & 7 Sam at 6 Finch at 7 if he is to move anyone out of position then it will be Leuluai that moves to Hooker, as for you being confident of Wigan fairing less well next season than this may i ask on what evidence your judging that on could it be the wrong assumption that Tomkins will be moved out of Stand Off for Finch or the fact that we have signed 3 of the NRL's best players all of whom despite recent events still helped Melbourne to 3 straight Minor Premier Titles in a row and 2 of 3 Grand Final wins aswell as the World Club Championship now wether they have been stripped is irrelevent they still happend not to mention after all those 3 we also have the oppertunity to welcome back Gareth Hock aswell as an abbundance of Super Leagues BEST youngsters Rovers should know you have one of them currently saving your chances of being in the 8 this year another 2 who where in a Final on Sunday so as i said earlier find out the facts before making completely utterly clueless assumptions.
