Thought that might be the case - was in top form before the injury.

| Fozz would take 10 of those hits by Crabtree and still get up and carry on but lots of players wouldn't.

| Fozz played 27 minutes in his first spell. That's a long time for the way he plays and considering our prop rotation of Netherton and Mills (one a back rower and one who doesn't run his weight) Fozz was figthing a losing battle from the start.
Anyone know why Scott Wheeldon didn't play?

I thought it was for health reasons, had a nasty reaction to a plant (which he is allergic to?) after the CC game. Could be wrong though.

Alot is made of Hudds having a big pack of forwards but Im not so sure they are alot bigger than ours. I think they where hungrier in defence to get on top of us and thats where they won the game IMO but we where our worst enemy at times.
As for Fozzard he doing a fantastic job and really took on alot of work in the game, I thought Hudds gang-tackled him very well and sometimes his drives were very easy to read.

Its ok been made of granite but u need to be able to run! i dont think any of our props ran with impact on friday, but saying that i do think this was down to hudds strong defensive line and the size of their forwards, they make it hard for any team to make yards against them. Usually when ur forwards are been dominated u expect a better kicking game, and this we dint have on friday. Why was cookie truly dropped? i dont think it was a tactical switch, but then im not JM.

Harsh on Mills, thought he did ok on Friday, kept up his momentum in the tackle, pumped his legs and made yrds.
Now to be controversial...... I don't think fozzard is cutting it, very rarely impacts the line and doesn't seem to make many yards, whether its due to injury or age I'm not sure but I think he's trading off his name in the eyes of a few of our fans. (no doubt someone will have stats that prove me wrong) Colburn and fox run the ball out harder than most of our props and seem to drag more players in and play the ball faster.
Neth for me is a good 2nd rower but not prop material, thought he looked like he needs game time to get over his injury, he will be better next week.
