Either the pitch is getting moved towards the west stand (which will restrict the view of the touch line even further) or the finished stand is going to be off centre, it will look awful off centre and look unfinished!!!

Nope! look at the end two blocks towards the west end and then look at end two blocks at the east end, the west ends go beyond the touch line, but the east ends are level with the touch line!!!

Wonder if more is still to go on the plans show an even stand.

I will break in over the weekend and take a look.

Is it anything to do with the new west stand build linking into the north stand?

The plans show 13 sections wide.
There are already 13 sections installed.
They may need to move the pitch if it's not in line

Trick of perspective, I think, though admittedly a very striking one.
The middle bit lines up with the posts and there are the same number of sections to either side if you count them. They look much smaller, of course, on the far side - look at the presumably identical red adverts at either end of the board in front of the build (which, incidentally are offset in the other direction, exaggerating the effect).
My eyes aren't buying it altogether, but that is what my mind reckons.

These are small... but the ones out there are far away

The piece directly behind the posts doesn't have an even amount of steel either side and it doesn't look as close to the East stand as the plans do (possibly perspective) but I'd imagine there's another piece to go up. Is there any more recent pics?
