One or two other facts remain, your team where beaten by an average team then, and you also struggled the previous week against a poor team.
Oh, and the only thing that seperates us in the league is the KC derby win, hardly a reason to be claiming your a far better team. For the past four seasons you've been making this claim.

Perhaps FC peaked at the Rhinos game and are heading for the Agar-tumble lol!

| Whilst obviously FC fans are very bitter about the forward pass which I agree was an absolutely shocking decision, they should be encouraged that they seem to be well out of "Agar territory" and Gentle's structures seem to be well engrained which has enabled them to get consistency in the way the play on a regular basis - something which we are still lacking.
In general, I personally thought FC controlled the bread and butter stuff more than Rovers throughout the game but they were eventually outdone by some moments of sheer class by Rovers; in particular plays from Hall, McDonell and Hodgson were the difference.
No disrespect to Greame Horne, but Manu vs Horne was the biggest individual miss-match on the pitch and Manu really took advantage of this. I was really looking forward to seeing Con Mika vs Manu after since Mika seems to have rediscovered his early season form again - I think it's a challenge Mika would have been really looking forward to so it's a shame he got ill and couldn't play.
Of course the forward pass try was a shocking decision but then so was the Dobson sin-binning and I felt FC generally got away with a lot more laying on at the in the tackle which I suppose was good instruction from the FC coaching team.
Our forwards were generally very inconsistent throughout the game and it wasn't until Lovegrove came on for his last spell until we started to really hurt them for a more sustained spell.
All in all a great game of RL with some superb tries from both sides and I don't think either side are as far away to the "top-sides" as many make out though there's still a way to go.

No, but basic facts are you have currently got 4 points more, but I think you were further in front of us this time last season, and we know how that turned out.
Until the season is complete, its all opinion. It becomes fact when the league table is completed after round 27.

Are they? personally think thats debatable, they are improving but the fact remains your halfs are average at best therefore you have to grind out wins, hence the RU tactics of once tickle gets near enough you kick for goal. Its the equivalent of playing Ronnie O'Sullivan at snooker, playing for snookers from the off and hoping you bore him into submission.
Bottom line is it was two pretty average sides and therefore made for an exciting game, either of us meet anyone good in a play off game we'll get beaten.

You are right a lot can happen before the end of the season, however right now the stats don't lie nor does the table we are the better team. We were fairly average on Saturday by the standards we have shown so far this season, the fact remains you lot are average most weeks and that is being generous on my part.

| Hull look a very cohesive unit now, (IMO!). The foundations look good and already I'd say they're more than flirting with being a good team. They're still a tiny bit limited and possibly getting a bit thin on numbers, but they should make the top 6 from here. I can't see us doing that, but I'm more optimistic about 7th/8th now. We've got some reet tough games coming up, so hopefully Saturday will have given us some confidence.

Thank you, but you'll get chucked out the choir for that.
2008-11 we merely punched above our weight while you were ravaged injuries.

Again, you confuse opinion with fact. Unless you watch us most weeks, it's 2nd hand opinion as well. Here's a "fact" for you, most weeks we are not average, in fact several weeks we have been so far below average it's not funny.
Inconsistent. There's a better word. Average implies we play similar every week, and we certainly don't, you never know what to expect when you go to Rovers.
