I think most Rovers fans are not bothered one way or the other if he comes or not, lets face it he is a 'good' player not a 'great' player. If he comes he will be a good addition to the squad, nothing more. If we were talking about players of the calibre of Israel Falou or Greg Inglis, then I could get all excited, but for Craig Hall I honestly am not bothered either way.

The only ones of yours I think are really worth pushing the boat out for are Berrigan and possibly Carvell.

I'd like Hall to sign for Rovers, especially if what Zod about him counting as an academy player is true. If he doesn't, it'll hardly be a cause for wailing and gnashing of teeth though.

well its not just me, he isnt internationally capped, and personally i dont think he is in the same class as either Mcguire or Pryce who are a step above any other british stand off

He's a different player to those two, and whilst you're correct in-so-much as he hasn't shown the same level of consistency, on top form he's as good in his own way.

Completely agree with you about the other positions. Webbo is a good little player and so is Fisher, but to be consistently in the top four you eventually need better.

Considering most Rover's fans would love our club to make top 6 this year, but would be perfectly happy with top 8, I don't think we're being unrealistic about our squad's quality. It's very difficult to go from NL, to SL play-offs in two seasons, but I think we'll go closer than most.
