It's now July 2nd and not one of our out of contract players have been signed to new deals. Apparently Beaumont and Carille have gone to Saints and we know Paea, Paterson and Dobson are going. Surely to god it's now essential we get the likes of Mika, Horne, Cox and Brown signed up. I can't understand it the way they are all playing at the moment especially Cox they will get better deals elsewhere if we are not careful.

Does seem a little odd nothing has been said yet from the club guess a some trust is needed on the fans part difficult I know.

Just because we haven't heard anything doesn't mean the club isn't talking to those ooc players. Discussions regarding contracts often go on over a period of weeks rather than just days, i'm sure we will hear something shortly.
Perhaps there may be something with a reference to contract talks in the forthcoming Sundays program notes from Neil Hudgell .

Tbf, the announcements have to be media managed too.

I'd be happy enough to see Horne and Netherton retained, for example, and maybe deals are in place, but announcing them so soon after major departures like MD, MP and CP might induce more angst than the silence. If we got somebody like Costigan to headline that press release, it looks much tidier business.

Just because it's not been made public doesn't mean the club haven't extended some contracts mate.

Which ones and why haven't they been announced? Surely putting the supporters at ease when we are losing 3 big players is a must?

You would think so, Charlie is the first player we have got a solid rumour for! There seems to be no announcements of retaining players or signing new ones, when other clubs seem to be announcing signings! But in light of all recent goings on at HKR im sure we are going about our business quietly.
