He kept the newly promoted club in SL against the odds (fixture list from Hell).
He got us into the play-offs for the first time last season.
He's brought youngsters through into the first team.
Not his fault that at the moment we don't have the firepower on the pitch to consistently trouble the big guns.

2 years a bit of a gamble and testimonial etc probably means he will be on a decent wedge so cos of the cap maybe not.

Moderately. On the other hand, Wheeldon would offer as much, certainly by 2012, I'd have thought - except maybe a bit of versatility. He probably won't ever be as good as Radford in his prime - but nor will Radford again. |

True. Good luck to the lad. Has proved worth his salt, but if rovers have offered 2 year deal imo I don't think he will play much 2nd season. Yet still a handy player to count on. |
