Therefore I reckon the club and coach are infront of the ball game in replacement terms so far.'"
You signed his replacement weeks ago from York

Did you get rid of all the voices in your head? Do you now miss them and the things that they said?: |

| Quote: Jake the Peg "Gentle is rubbish at bringing through young players. Just look at how poor Tom Lineham and Ben Crooks are, whereas omari caro is knocking on the door of the England elite squad'"
That would have been much more effective if you had actually quoted the correct post.

| One thing HKR seem to have and have had for years is a good overseas recruitment.time and time again we have signed relative unkowns, some at the start of their career , some who want to prove their worth and return back to NRL.Overall I would say we recruit well. I am sure Cs and Neil Hudgell operating within salary /budget constraints will find replacements for all the guys who are moving on.
This season is approaching the interesting part, we have a team who like any other group, will want to go out with a bang to remember their days together, the next weeks will be happy ones for KR fans.
The RL game itself is operating as normal in crisis mode, we have a fantastic sport played by magnificent athletes watched by passionate loyal fans, but what we do not have is lots of money.
At club level I am happy that people like NH are willing to invest in some thing with no return, they are actaully uber fans and should be recognised as such, I fear for teams who are investing heavily with only two chances of success, Grand final win or Challenge Cup.

Dobbo only told Rovers on Thursday afternoon he was leaving.
So the supposed talks and offers made with other half backs to be his replacement are not true.'"
Surely hudge had an inkling when he posted his piece in the wail the other day and specifically mentioned the deadline?

I did quote the right post, the one responding to the one you believe to be the right one

The June 30th deadline for Dobbo certainly but I think in all honesty it wasn't expected that he would get an offer from back home.
Only getting a one year deal at short notice shows he may be heralded as one of the best SH is SL but back home he will be a squad player.
I reckon one of the Rovers board are heading down under in the next 2-3 weeks to secure a new number 7 and a couple of forwards.

Well come new one I will get in before Sandra well comes you,one of the best we ever got was Gavin Miller no body had heard of him infact when me and a mate of mine first saw him we said he looked like a monkey but the guy went on to win the man of steel I think he was the first overseas player to win it

"I've been rich & I've been poor. Rich is better." DLR: |

| Plenty of shopping to do & plenty of quota / non fed space as well. Possibly looking at an outside back, scrum-half, hooker / half-back, 2 props & 2 back-rowers. Wish the OOC lists looked more inspiring.

| Why do we need a new hooker? Hodgson and carlile are here if withers go. We need a prop a 7 and another 2nd rower at a minimum. Has anyone heard any rumours that actually have a chance of being true
