This is a fable over these parts. I can't quote figures, but I suspect away fan numbers at the KC are basically the same as ours. Many away fans bemoan our facilities, but in reality its just an excuse. The real reason is the length of the M62 and not the lack of a roof on our away end.

cant say i know the figures,but if both hull clubs can travel well once a fortnight,what is stopping other clubs travelling to hull twice a season.
i would ask you though,if you were a an away fan from the west riding or lancashire etc,which ground would you rather go to in the colder wetter months.an open to the elements craven park(easter 200icon_cool.gif,or a seated covered kc?

That's an easy answer. Whichever ground my team was playing at! It may come as a surprise, but having been weaned on a diet of Batley, Whitehaven, Leigh (Hilton Park) etc, we don't mind a bit of rain, snow, etc if it means we get to see our team.

only Leeds and Wigan bring a consistently good following over. I suppose Wakefield and Cas bring a decent number compared to how many they get at home..but the others bring a joke following to the KC.
