Quote: Dave K. "Rightly or wrongly some Hull fans dont like going to CP.

If Rovers had a stadium like the KC in a decent area, Hull would take well over 6000 fans to the game.'"

A decent area like Anlaby Road? icon_lol.gif

Anlaby Road is hardly the nicest of areas, well parts of it anyway, but come on...Prezzy Road makes it look like Swanland icon_lol.gif

Quote: Stan Butler "Rovers will be hit in the pocket for sure, 600 not attending at £20 each is £12k in lost revenue, coupled with a larger than normal police bill.
If Rovers were to ever stage a derby at the KC as the "Home" team of course people would boycott...I would go as far as saying some Rovers fans would too.
I honestly think the true nitty gritty for people not turning up this time around is not just the ground, we are poo and a lot of fans are expecting a drubbing, easy to take when it's Leeds or Saints, not so easy when you are sharing the bus home with you lot

I think you are not aware of just how bad the South Stand is especially at those prices.

I refused to go back in that stand after 2003 pre season derby so didnt attend in 2007 and 2008 when we were favourites arguably.

However I AM going tomorrow (not in south stand) but not expecting much on the pitch....go figure?

Incorrect I have been in that stand when I was a kid and I know its far from great.
Just answer me this question.
Would you have sold out your allocation if you were say second in the table and be honest icon_wink.gif
Thought so.

I wouldnt have been there and I can only speak for myself. I have the chance to watch the game from a different part of the ground and jumped at the chance.

Now you be honest with me. Do you think Rovers upping the price (not offering discount) for an absolutely shocking view has also effected peoples decision? icon_biggrin.gif

Anybody who has been in there over the last 2 seasons isnt going to rush back when the game is on sky.

Quote: Roofs "Here's another idea - you go to the game, whilst they have a game of football at Soccer Sensations next door, for say, 80 minutes?
sounds about right Stan, if the kids play football for 80mins without stopping, then you can go watch the game and the half time entertainment and leave with 15 mins to go like your fans always do.... thus making it roughly 80mins before you return to pick the kids up! icon_biggrin.gif

How rovers fans have the audacity to criticise the fc fans is beyond me. 80% of their so called 8000 strong army have been missing for the past 20 years.

Get some money spent and get a decent stand built for away support and most fans will go. Do as you are told like it says in the criteria or f.o. back to the NL.

Dont forget you put an extra pound on ours for charity though... i would of happily handed over a pound if been asked to do so.... put really we didnt even have a choice. Both clubs just try and get one over each other on this i think.

I think people should have had the choice to opt out of the 1 pound donation to charity as well. i am sure most would have gladly given to children in need anyway.

At least the money went to a 'charitable' cause! icon_wink.gif
