| What an effort, wire flattered by the scoreline. Two major observations 2day imo atkins is not a full back and dagger has to be given a chance at full backin the home game v london, also craig hall is a far better goal kicker than drinkwater.proud of our effort today and wire away will be a tough game for all.
As an after thought the halliwell jones is the best r/l stadium imo.

| Lots of positives but ultimately frustrating. Austin straight red no doubt. Ref bottled it. Tompkins took out of the game. Mose stepped up.Garbutt was good again. The pack in general played well. Atkin had a mare,Dagger deserves his shot. Some basic calls missed by ref at key moments but also shot ourselves in foot a few times. Didn't really expect to win today but that yellow that should have been red was the key factor.

I’m a Wire fan and I can’t disagree with this, I thought as did others we were lucky to be in front at half time.

| Why does everyone think it was atkin who dropped the high ball for Livetts try when it was Hall?

| I'll need to see the Austin tackle again. From where I was stood, the tackle wasnt complete and the ball was still live when Austin came in, so to me the yellow seemed harsh.

I would have thought Hall was your best option at full back.
Shaw could then come back on the wing

That is a reasonable option, well worth a thought, the next game home to london is the game where tim can try something different,I like atkin but not as a full back.

| Just hope Joel and Vai Vai injuries aren't that bad?
Pretty much where I thought we would be after 2 games. Next 2 games need winning and go from there.Lunt and Quinlan in that team and who knows how far it can go?

Hall should never play full back again. To be left on the wing where he is doing just fine.
Atkin set up 4 tries today. 2 for each side.
Here's hoping Tomkins is ok. Him and Vaivai will be big misses
