| Quote: fun time frankie "That's an understatement on his defence I haven't seen him make a one on one tackle he makes Kieron Dixon look like Shaun briscoe his attack is excellent though'"
Comparing Quinlans defence to that of Kieran Dixon is the ultimate insult Frankie. He's actually made some one on one tackles at FB in a Rovers shirt, unlike KD, who continues to let in more tries than he scores for the Broncos. Think me and Mrs PR need to contemplate booking in for eye examinations next week though if others agree with you.

| Quote: Keiththered "Agree as far as Quinlan's attacking prowess is concerned but I am not overly impressed with his one on one defence. He should have stopped Leigh's second try and his reaction showed he realised that. There have been other examples not least being stood up by the Sheffied winger!'"
A tad unfair on Quiny when the blame laid with a very groggy Scruton who was recovering from a massive hit and was quite literally in no-mans land. Any other time that tackle would have been made so credit to Lachlan for targeting the weak link.
I agree about the Eagles try but have forgiven him for it because he has vastly improved since then. TBH I didn't mind the try being scored because of the skill and attacking flair.

Did anyone seriously expect him to stop that run away train.
That winger had all the pitch to work with after a miracle offload. It wasn't a bad tackle by Quinlan just a fantastic step.

| I have seen Quiny try and succeed in making one on one leg tackles this season. He's not so good trying wrap up tackles or high tackles due to his size. More positively, he does get under the player that tries to barge over the line holding him up and preventing him from getting the ball down.
Compared to Charlie he offers us another 2 to 3 dimensions in attack, is creative and exciting to watch and for those reasons alone he is an excellent TS signing imo.

And he's also dropped for this Sunday's game
