Tbf, I wasn't especially keen on Abdull. But if what we saved there allowed us to get Ellis, then I guess you have to look at recruitment as a whole.
Matonga as well as an experienced prop, would be okay, I suppose. I think though that we can probably take a little bit of a risk on depth early in the season to leave more in the kitty for mid-season strengthening.

I hope Abdul proves his doubters wrong (including me) but if he flunks we have Quinlan, Addy or Hefernan as
able replacements.
I heard the rumour about Matonga before kick-off so I kept an eye on him, and TBH he spent more time behind the action than putting himself forward as an option, he also missed a number of tackles. He looks a lazy player. Surely there are better options out there?

Don't think he told the Mail. He said that on krtv a few days ago. A lot of what HDM print is just a rehash of things on our website.

| Silly me I actually thought the mail actually did some reporting for once.. but if tim has got some gem signings up his sleeve why not name them, then it may make them not sure fans get a season pass and put us over 6k

| Thought Clarkson went well in his new role as No. 10 we obviously still need another prop to replace Tilse but maybe that's that's enough if Clarkson can continue to impress. The new role seemed to suit him.
Scruton & Clark were excellent against Hull so if you add Clarkson, new signing (Hala probably) plus Mulhern & Moran that might be enough.
Leaving the 2 surprise signings to complete the initial £1.2m squad that starts the regular season.

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

| Bulls fans rate him very highly, Leeds were rumoured to be in for him last week.

| Bulls fans are gutted.
If their tries of the season compilation video are a yardstick the boy can play. Seems a no brainer if he'll sign and not on the quota is a further bonus.
Sure he could play on the wing.
Seems Sheens surprise maybe it's not a prop.

Sounds like the rfl are back-tracking over the quota exempt status of ex-Bulls players and this is stalling the announcement of Moss. Rovers have 2 spots available and don't want to use 1up.

| Where will he play, on the wing? Very similar player to Quinlan.

Understandable then. Not worth a quota spot for a winger and cover at full back. We need horrible forwards, props preferably.
Looks a very good running threat. Hope we get him and stick him on the wing.
Moss and Mitch Clark were team mates in a very good Penrith under 20 side that won their 2013 grand final. Highlights are on YouTube. They both score in the final.

Looks a running full back and Quinlan a converted half back.
Be surprised if Moss couldn't make a go of it on the wing.
