Not really bothered by having 7 overseas players at Hull (it's actually one less than last year). What happened is that you got corrected after saying something that wasn't correct, that's all.
Generally, I think the number of 7 overseas players should be lower and brought back down to 5 for all clubs, but that's one for the VT really.
As for Hull fans "interfering", it was you that brought up Hull FC's overseas contingent. Had you not done so (or at least been correct about it) you wouldn't have got the responses you have done.

As for double-barrelled names, they haven't been the preserve of the semi-posh for a while, as far as I can tell. Quite a few knocking round SL on mostly working class young men.'"
I feel the urge to expand this point, MR. Double-barrelled names were almost entirely the preserve of the totally ra-posh when I was growing up. As an educated fellow, I am sure you remember the John Betjeman poem about Joan Hunter Dunn!
Somehow and inevitably perhaps over the subsequent generations, the double-barrelled surname has been hijacked by socially disenfranchised ethnic minorities, by the broken marriage brigade, by aspirational feminist wannabes with no taste and most worryingly by the sink estate chavs.
It's a bit like the Burberry tartan. You know it's value is undermined when you see similar on market stalls everywhere.
Anyway, I can name Jones-Buchanan, Jones-Bishop, Caton-Brown, Murdoch-Masila, McCarthy-Scarsbrook and Lateagain-Kelly. Beyond that I'm struggling. Can you think of anymore?

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

I can't off the top of my head.
However, I think JBF may represent a hyphenated first for Hull Kingston-Rovers. Unless we count Tangata-Toa.

Kiwi's seem to like a double-barreller:
Kenny-Dowall
Tuivasa-Sheck
Waerea-Hargreaves
Watene-Zelezniak
Fisher-Harris

I think double-barrelled surnames with or without hyphens seem to be quite common in NZ culture, especially amongst the indigenous. Spain, Portugal and Brazil too.

Reagan Campbell-Gillard, Nelson Asofa-Solomona, Raymond Faitala-Mariner...we should sign all these players immediately as a treat for Gwilym.

Poorhouse Lane would be aptly named if we went down that route, Beverley. There's only so many ways to skin a fart to make money out of the fans and the club seems to be doing a cracking job of that this year.

I'm afraid you appear to be the intellectual equivalent of the character the troll has created. I see now how entering any kind of discussion with you was a mistake. I sincerely hope when I go to give support to Abdul next season, I'm not surrounded by similar single celled organisms to yourself.
Personally speaking, I am thrilled that Hull FC's English contingent is so strong we can't guarantee starting places to Michaels, Tuimivave or Manu. I genuinely hope you unearth enough English talent to keep out very average quota players like Quinlan or Tilse. I won't comment on Butler-Fleming as I've not seen him play, and unlike you I prefer to offer opinions based on things other than pure fantasy.
