Kelly did come up with some game breaking plays but I thought Blair was overall the better half.
Fantastic performance from Minns and whisper it but Tilse had a pretty good game as well.

Great result - the freedom of movement was a joy to watch and I hope lessons have been learned.
As far as I am concerned it was obvious the players confab with the coaching staff has 'turned a corner' over the game plan (IMO the 'tweaks' introduced since Chezzy went were almost unplayable).

I'm still in a state of shock over what I saw today. Lets be right, Cas were not great, but how frustrating is it following Rovers? These away wins are a doddle aren't they?
Cas fans near us blamed the entire proceedings on Thaler.

Frustrating is the word stan,but in my opinion we have a coach in webster who can send a team out with a gameplan,and the players are responding.Other than than the oldham debacle our results and performances are unrecognisable from the chester era,today being an example,and webster is a rovers man through and through,and has shown enough for me that he can improve us further,especially with some good injured players close to returning. |
