| Quote: Sandro II Terrorista "Dixon needs to be at Fullback
But, he needs to do it in defence in a very basic manner, his one on one tackling is a lot better than he is given credit for. I will however Labour this point yet a bloodygain.
Yes, Fullback is the last line of defence, but if gets to that, your whole defensive structure has failed. One on one with a fullback is very similar to a penalty kick in Association Football, if you stop it then you've done very, very well. Most of the time there will be attacking players flooding through the line.
The last Old Skool full back was probably Briscoe, but you need more than that now.
Dixon needs to spend more time on being a third or fourth pivot and honing his passing game.
We've all seen that Cockayne has absolutely no right to left passing game, I like his enthusiasm and his scoots from dummy half in exit sets are often excellent, but Dixon offers so much more. He has electric pace from marker and superb footwork.
If we don't exploit his natural talent it's the fault of the club, not Dixon.'"
Spot on Sandro. Apart from Albert, I think he's the one man capable of a piece of match winning magic. Why your coaches can't see this is beyond me.

Do you mean play all 3 on the wing? Nice idea , it may tighten up the wing defence, but then again ...........

Did you get rid of all the voices in your head? Do you now miss them and the things that they said?: |

He can't. He's too busy laughing at Campese's injury

| I just don't get the problem with Dixon, if he makes an error he gets dropped, others do but never get dropped.

| Surely he gets a game next week against Salford. Cockayne was shocking yesterday and was the worst player on he pitch by a million miles. I'd be happy with either Sio or Dixon at full back, with the other on the wing. Cockayne must be dropped.

| Cockayne has copped a grade A charge. Let's hope for a Boudebza-style OTT upgrade and he gets a 4 game ban.

| I am actually a Wakefield Fan who watched 2 lads in our scholars team last year in Oakes and Dagger that I believe have sparkling futures if they continue to work hard and stay injury free. I know both lads because I coached them for a period of time and for that reason I have continued to follow their careers. We have one our selves that is ready for SL in Judah Massive, just hope the new coach has the doodahs to give him a shot, it worked with Johnstone afterall....

I know both lads because I coached them for a period of time and for that reason I have continued to follow their careers, although WTW is my passion, I believe the future of RL lies in the youth system. I was saddened when these two lads left but can only wish them all the luck in the future. Dagger is now at Warrington and doing real well, I even managed to watch him have a great game at stand off v Bradford the other week, I didn't manage to get to the Wigan game to see Oakes but have watched the Video footage and he did what he does best, attacks with pace and power and finishes well. Good Luck to them both at their respective clubs, however I do feel that we could do with them at WTW at the moment!!!!! Shame we couldn't keep hold. We have one our selves that is ready for SL in Judah Massive, just hope the new coach has the doodahs to give him a shot, it worked with Johnstone afterall....'"
How come you couldn't keep hold of them I don't suppose there on much money
