We've been rubbish so far other than a 15 minute spell in the first half. Too many penalties and mistakes.
Kelly's kicking game is rubbish and Blair has been very poor at centre.
Luckily Catalans keep letting us back into it.

Similar to the Widnes game. Should have won it, but we beat ourselves unfortunately. Kelly bombed 2 tries, Blair had dropsy in the centres and we gifted them field position through needless penalties and coughing up the ball cheaply. Catalans were better defensively than in recent games but were still there for the taking. Gutted.

I dont think we were rubbish just a bit disjointed at times but that is what we get with the free unstructured way they play add the fact that we are a bit light up the middle at the moment & the Cats are a big side. I am always dissapointed to loose but I am happy with what we are getting to see this year.
I would agree Blair is not our best centre, I would have had him in the second row maybe with Horne at centre. Anyway I am looking forward to Friday & another go at Wigan as I know this year if the plan works we are capable of winning. |
