| Quote: barham red "Great won for the lads, would have been disappointed to lose thst one as i thought wigan were there for the taking. Still some godd character shown to get back in the game.
I was wondering how farrell got his pass that makes him exempt from being penalised for laying on.
I reckon Mccarthy could be up in front of the beak this week, his late run in to the mêlée after our try and cracking right hook to someone's head.'"
That was Mr Cockayne...

| To beat wigan would suggest we have a team that can touch the top 6, however i fear for the drinking culture that has been there for the past 20 years, i have a guaranteed wage, i will drink after a match and see what happens! That is what the current players say under the current coach chester, get a good coach in and see them fly up to 6th place minimum!

That's quite some insight you have there pal, not only do you claim to know all the players, you also appear to know their habits & collective motivations. You must be some kind of mind control guru.
Or alternatively, just some crank talking bollox. I can't decide which yet.

If Rugby League Rocks, then Hull KR is its Soul.: |

| Hey Barnabus. Looked like Blair has managed to keep off the Big Macs and the beers in the last fortnight. Are you a fan of his new trimmer physique yet?

Thought he had a good stint in the 2nd row especially in the 1st half, Came close to scoring and probably would have if he'd have trimmed up and had a bit more pace.

| It's about time we played Blair at left centre, him and Goulding are the best 2 centres at the club and we should play our best players in their best position imho

Maybe Chester doesn't think he's mobile enough at the current moment in time. He's clearly looking in better shape then he did a few weeks ago.

| I guess turning a blind eye toward charnleys kick out maybe helped Charlie get away with him throwing a haymaker at Bateman,
As for Bobby Blair I've been really impressed with his game (not his body shape) he runs solidly and tackles very well

| It may be that they have been let off due to hicks inability to stop all the niggle early on when he had plenty of opportunity, and had he done that, there probably wouldn't have been an incident later on.

| Maurice Blair is proving a class act in my opinion. 3 different positions played so far and he has done extremely well. A real solid professional player who will not miss tackles, not make that many mistakes and will do the little things so the likes of kelly, campese, dixon, goulding and sio can provide some flair. He's like an upgrade on Jason Netherton.
Left centre is becoming problematic however, and if we could nail down a place for him on that left centre i would be all for it. Salter defensively is outstanding, and his shot on gelling in the second half to make him drop it and kill their momentum was excellent. However, his inability to provide opportunities for his winger is limiting our attacking options on the left. Blair has shown he can run good lines, and ball handling capabilities and experience playing in a superior comp in that position. We need to start this transition soon, however depends probably on the ability of bailey/cox to get some game time in second row. You could also move dixon to fullback, charlie to second hooker and graeme horne back to second row with Blair to centre. If we do this we may see more of mantellato then his ridiculously good goal kicking skills. I do not think we have utilised his size yet on attacking kicks either.
