| When was the last time anyone saw hock have an outstanding game? He's been largely rubbish whenever i've seen him since he left wigan. Shows the odd glimpse of what he is capable of but far too inconsistently and the baggage he brings isn't worth what you're getting on the field IMO. carney definitely worth the risk but hock not

| Hudgells q&as would be shown as a massive farce if we then signed Hock, as a person hes everything Hudge hss said we're trying to rid the team of.

| When he came back from his drugs ban he worked incredibly hard at Wigan and had a great season under Wane in 2012. Then something happened internally (there are various rumours but the truth hasn't really come out) and Wigan lost patience with him and shipped him to Widnes.
He played well in a very poor team. Going to Salford was clearly a mistake. But he's also done well this season. Not just on his day, but over the course of the season he's easily the best second rower in Super League. He runs incredibly hard, is difficult to put down, has a step and offloads more than anyone in the league.
Against that he misses 3 to 6 games a season through suspension. He gives penalties away more than most (or so it seems - I'd be glad to be proved wrong on this though).
So you have to decide - Is he worth it?
If I was Hull KR I'd snap him up. Surely as fans you want to see great players. And he is a great player.

| On 2014 form, Elliot Whitehead would get my vote.

If he's that good and worth putting up with his misdemeanours then why won;t wigan have him back? I fully agree with you though, hull kr should sign him

Because Shaun Wane doesn't want him. Simple as. It's SWs way or the highway.

| Has been. Shouldn't have been allowed to play again following a positive drugs test.

Where do you stand on recreational drugs? Because that's what it was - not performance enhancing. He copped a two year ban for recreational drug use which was harsh. Terry Newton got two years for using HGH. It hardly equates does it?
As for him being a has been, did you watch Salford much last season? Their fans seemed happy enough with his form until his latest (rather comical) misdemeanour. Even if he is a 'has been' he could improve most teams in Super League.
Anyway it looks like he's off to Wire - so he won't be bringing down the tone in East Hull!

| Doing recreational drugs makes him an idiot, however copping lengthy bans for deliberate contact with match officials for 2 years in a row makes him unemployable if I were recruiting for Rovers. The bloke is an utter bumclart. I wouldn't pi$$ on him if he was on fire.
