Same here, unless Salter is injured.

| Salter did a great job at Leeds last season, won Sky's MOM I think.
We need Hall's kicking, maybe Burns will get the interchange hooking role for this one?

| Green and Salter to miss out by the look of it. Horne gives cover in the backs as well as at SR and hall will play centre for his kicking duties I cart see him dropping a winger of eden

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

He might be able to, but he really shouldn't be. He's constantly shown up for his lack of footwork in defence when playing at Centre, Watkins or Moon will tear him apart.

| Leeds have the best three quarters in the league and Salter is our best defensive back so I can see him been in the team

You really expect Poore to start in 2nd row?

| I would say that the Rhinos outside backs will rip apart Hall or Horne BUT I think it is too much of a risk to play Burns without having Hall in the side 'just in case'.
That being said Salter might be able to defensively handle the pressures of playing against such good backs.
Personally I'd put Hall in and as for Costigan not starting the game? I aren't sure where that comes from? He is a player that has shown up well in pre-season and while a tad over weight I would say game time is the only way he's going to shed the pounds during the season as they don't do much cardio work during the season in training. His passing game has certainly shown we can be dangerous out wide and he can take some pressure off down the middle when needed.
Justin Poore is a starting prop and nothing else IMO.
Either way the players sat up in the stands shows just how strong we are. Not a luxury Craig is used to.

I'd agree with that chief.
Talking to some people a couple of weks ago, the pitch is not in a good condition, there may be drainage issues caused by the new stand.
The players haven't been able to train on it for weeks so I think we can expect a very heavy surface suited to carting the ball up.

| Quote: SirStan "You really expect Poore to start in 2nd row?'" It depends if CS is looking to destroy Leeds up the middle or not.
I have no doubt Langley will play 13 and I can't see Horne playing so Weyman, WalkerX2, Green, or Poore is going to have to at some point unless we expect Costigan to play 80 mins.
Although now I'm thinking about it I can see Hodgson playing 80 mins again with Carlile covering him when he goes SR.

Leeds biggest ever away support to Hull are on there way, should be a cracking atmosphere, and hopefully best behaviour all round.
If Burns plays id put Hall in for Salter, He'd be up against Joel Moon who isn't the biggest or strongest centre about, but obviously has great footwork so Hall could go ok. I think Horne will be on the bench to cover the centre if Hall has to move to stand off.
Forwards wise I think they pick themselves but id like to have seen Cox in there too.
1 Eden. 2 Cockayne. 3 Hall. 4 Welham. 5 Hodgson. 6 Burns. 7 Keating. 8 Weyman. 9 Hodgson. 10 A. Walker. 11 Larroyer. 12 Costigan. 13 Langley.
14 Carlisle. 15 J. Walker. 16 Poore. 17 Horne.

| CS might be tempted to play the Walker brothers together to see if there competitive streak spurrs them both on.
disappointing to not have Cox and Lovegrove in there but I guess that shows the depth we have now.

| I think a young forward with an older forward will work well. And I would rather lovegrove be on the bench then Horne can play in the pack and centre if needed

| What a feel good factor this club is in at the moment, and with strength in depth we have by leaving the likes of Cox, Gleeson and Lovegrove sat in the stands shows how far we have come this season. Bring on Sunday, I for one cant wait!!

| I really feel for Coxy and Lovegrove on this one. Sandercock must really fancy Larroyer to put him ahead of Jordan and Rhys!
If Burns plays I would play Hally on the wing instead of Disco or Charlie, Salter plays because of his defence, as someone stated earlier it could be a tight affair because of the pitch/weather so as many good defenders needed.
Maybe even leave Welham out whose defence needs to improve.
My 17 would be:
Eden
Hall
Salter
Welham
Charlie
Burns
Buster
A.walker
Hodgson
Weyman
Larroyer
Langley
Costigan
Rep:
Poore
J.Walker
Green
Horne
Costigan or Horne to fill in at 9 if Josh needs a breather.
Cannot bloody wait RRTR.
