Forward Passes Hull FC -12 Spotted 1 - Tries scored 3
Rovers - 4 Spotted 2 - Tries 0
Penalties Hull FC - 13
Rovers - 5
Obstructions in Lead up t o Try Hull FC - 2
There were other items but I had been sickened off by then
To summarise if you take away the 18 points Hull FC Scored off forward passes then Rovers Should have won the game'"
And if you take of the 2 points Rovers got from the penalty they were awarded when Ellis got pinged for interfering (I belive there was a rovers player sat on him at the time that impeded his ability to move out the ruck area) Rovers would still have lost.

Challenge Cup Winners 2016 (at Wembley) - HULL FC: |
|
| 90% of Dobson's passes to the left edge are forward but let's forget those shall we
Most forward pass yesterday was Burns to the ground about 5 yards in front of Gleeson which was ignored.
As was Burns launching a punch at Shaul when getting up to play the ball under our posts. THALER ignored it. You got a penalty for Miller being offside and scored on the next set.
Cheer up Craig

| Yes but if Mr Shaul had decided to go out with the lads instead of having a fumble on a bench in West Park with the missus, then young Jamie wouldn't have been conceived and hence the try yesterday would never have been scored.
The above statement I made sounds a more plausible excuse for losing then what the OP has said. I do cringe at some of the rubbish my fellow Rovers fans post sometimes.

Well said. We all have them though. Gives everyone a chuckle, mind you.

Oh dear. You conceded 32 points in a single half. A ref will never ever be that bad that he'll be responsible for 32points in 1half! Get a grip.

| As a rovers fan I didn't like losing yesterday. That being said, the best team won on the day (hard to admit but true) and secondly I have yet to see a referee take the field with the premeditated intention to favour one team over the other. If we are being honest then Thaler is probably the best ref in the league at the moment, certainly better than Silverwood and Bentham. The refs make mistakes but not as many as the players do, this was alluded to by CS in his post match interview where he stated "individual errors cost us dear". I'm not a ref and wouldn't want to be one but can everyone just get off their backs. As someone smarter than me once said "control the controllable" and "the teams performance should be good enough to take the ref out of the equation".
I'll further annoy my fellow KR fans by saying good luck at Wembley FC, as they are representing our county against the vastly inferior county of Lancashire.

| What really surprised me about yesterday was the fact that I thought rovers would make us battle hard for the win knowing we would have Wembley on our minds. In reality we absolutely coasted through the game, I think we will probably have to use more energy against Salford.
