There are plenty of RL players the world over with worse pasts than Cockayne. Would anyone turn down Jake Friend coming over? Greg Inglis maybe? No, thought not.
If CS thinks he can do a job and the price is right, there is no reason not to sign him.

My opinions of Cockayne's troubled past are a matter of record on here so I won't revisit them.

Don't know where we're going with this. Loved Charlie as a player & was gutted to see him go but Hudge made the right decision at the time. Life moves on, he seems happy & settled at Wakey now, would he even want to come back? My guess is that he signed quite a modest deal at Wakey & this is just an agent seeing what his options are.

If you are of the opinion that a player indulges in behaviour or expresses views or opinions that are so much at odds with your own views and opinions (and for me this is the case with Ben and his views on race) then you are entitled to be of the opinion that you would not like that player back at the club you support.
wether other players (who don't play for us) have behaved in a worse way or how good Ben himself may be at rugby is frankly irelevant.
I won't have any say in wether Ben comes back to Rovers or not but I have the right to say that for the reasons stated above I hope it doesn't happen
